Suke was a title of officer who was a helper or a supporter for the top officer in ancient Japan then it have become to use for boy's name. Also there are a character which has a pronunciation of ken and means sword. In this case Kensuke means supporting sword I think.
4:55 tried fried crickets and grasshoppers and they are good, flaky though. The trope ppl say is “taste like chicken” but it’s more taste like those fried fish snacks commonly sardines you put on top of something to eat or straight pick and eat from jar. Nutrition wise they are high in that since their diet is vegetation. So whatever they eat those nutrients is stored with them.
A friendly local biologist here to give you some context, pretty sure this episode was based on an insect that is responsible for giving us the tooty fruity flavor. The stink bug doesn't stink rather it tastes like a combination of luxurious tropical fruits, cinnamon mint and bubble gum.
Lol! Some lore info. 1. The dog is a kobold named Kuro, which isn’t his real name. Forgot the name but kuro is his nickname. For kobolds they are varies across fantasy franchises. Warcraft kobolds are ratlike creatures. Pathfinder/dnd they are small dragon like creatures. Here they are doglike. 2. The half foot is a boy named mirkbell.
Other lore is lukra(?, the dark skin party leader) and kuro come from the same region in the world. Lukra doesnr soeak kobold but he understands the language so kuro is happy he can speak in his native tongue then common which is difficult to say most common words.
Most of this is in the dungeon Meshi adventurers bible the creator made to expand on info and lore. Warning it contains spoilers up to around volume 10 I think so if want to read it either wait till anime ends or read the manga up to that point.
Actually, plenty of cultures around the world treat bugs as delicacies, so it’s not that strange, I’ve personally had spider, which tastes kinda like chicken 🤷🏻
The coin insects look like chocolate coins with the wrap on. I would eat those probably. I don't understand why Marcille chose the centipede thing that had horrified her to begin with... facing your fear I guess? Lol The ice-cream looked really tasty. Well I think having a resurrection ritual that works isn't necessarily a bad thing. Explains why adventuring in the dungeon is a career given the level of lethality of the whole place. You at least have multiple chances to beat difficult parts... if your body is recovered and had arrangements to cast the resurrection ritual on you. Also it seems to be something that a decent magic user or cleric can cast. In the party Marcille can do it and that was the reason they said anyone could get killed but her in a previous episode. Loving the dungeon crawling and how reminiscent everything is to DnD. Looking forward to next episode.
I need to start keeping a counter of how often I say "damn you joe" while watching your reactions. "Sword of cool?" That's so bad. But excellent. I'm a dad so I can always appreciate the horrible pun even if I have to curse you for it.
I believe the dog is a kobold like how they mentioned in ep 4, plus treasure bugs sounds like an awesome trap for my friend 😂 but the holy water flail is just 😏👌
First of all, Mickbell is a guy. Second of all, he is an adult Half-foot. This is an adult man you're looking at. Third, Kabru is a dick to everyone, at least here he's just having fun. Love your content!
This is spoilerr I told you this is spoiler alert Or maybe just my assumptions Soo When chilcuck say "I see my dead dad" it refers to his dead father so if the ghost uses the same method as laios it means falin is also dead at that stage, or maybe falin died after the dragon swallow her
