I have an open station NS6010 with about 28 hrs so far. It is a powerful machine. The loader is strong and quick. The stance is super-stable compared to the L series Kubota I had previously. I have loaded tires and rarely need the 4WD. The HST is very quiet. It can be difficult to engage the mid range unless you tap one of the HST pedals. For whatever reason, the low and high range usually go right into gear. The reason I chose the NS6010 is the power for one, but also the Class 2 three point hitch. It is much more rugged than on the DK's I saw. I bought it to do loader work, both for gravel, etc, as well as pulling hay implements. I don't use a hay wagon on my baler so 60 hp is more than enough. I use the tractor for grapple work in the woods. It is compact enough to manuver easily. It is just very easy to drive. So far I really love this tractor!

I'm a little confused with the lift capacity of the loader, the Kioti website lists the loader capacity of 2,097lbs, that's surprising since the capacity for the DK series is showing 2,474lbs. Also, any idea why they changed the design of the ROPS?
I am looking for a tractor that will replace the specs of the NX4510. So far, there is nothing out there and with Kioti issuing a Stop Sale on the NX series indefinitely for what most are suspecting is hydrostatic related, there is an appetite for something to tackle the same stats as the NX.
Essentially, these are the same as the previous generation DK's, larger than today's DK##10 series, but smaller than today's NX##10 series. In the open station model, I'm not sure what the real advantage is, like your thinking, but if they offered this in a cab (they don't currently), the reason would be pretty obvious, much more room in the cab and much easier to enter & exit from the right side (more room between the loader stick and the steering wheel).
It has some things standard that are totally different technology and can't be added to the DK. Draft control, push button 4wd, auto PTO. It also weighs around 500lbs more. It's a more "deluxe" tractor package but without the electronic transmission that the NX has.
