I did a last minute Kentucky Derby hat and fascinator haul of different sizes and colors and these are my thoughts on them all. Plus some tips for trying on Kentucky Derby hats, how to hide the chin straps/hat elastic, how to position them and which hats will also work for the Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot to get more wear from your hats.

Hi! Loved the video, I know nothing about hats and found out today I am going to a Derby event this weekend, so now I’m scrambling lol. But this helped a lot! I was just wondering if you could link the hats in the description pretty please!! :)

Netting is normally only worn in the day time it’s not etiquette for a night time wear. Not my rules lol and it’s normally positioned on the right side! Thank you for this, it was very helpful 😊

I adore these fascinators. I get really annoyed by huge, pompous, plasticy net hats. These are so classy and chic.

Thanks so very much. As much as I love big hats they're often so impractical and so hard to be respectful of other peoples space and not take someones eye out 😆
