This awesome lake town looks seaside! It's Hippie chic bed and breakfast is like true time traveling! Totally worth the trip! Adventure lovers will also want to make it to Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand Rivers Kentucky! It's set between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, and was a stop we wanted to make for the longest time. We'd heard about the great food at the restaurant like the "mile-high pie" but were blown away by the town itself...where golf carts are everyday transportation! The marina full of sailboats, dotted with shoreline cabins and homes on stilts had us feeling we were at a beautiful seaside resort... in the middle of Kentucky! Then we got to our awesome and eclectic BNB called "The Rose of the Lake"...we not only found a great and helpful staff but one-of-a-kind surroundings that beautifully took us back to a groovy time in history! That weekend was definitely a groovy time for us!
