Kentucky Wildcats HC John Calipari - South Carolina Postgame 

As a Gamecock fan, it was refreshing to hear an opposite coach's honesty and candor. He didn't blame the refs or make excuses.

It all starts with the coach.

Cal needs to be better he looked uncomfortable the whole game and it showed he had no clue who to play and then we get down and forget how to play basketball. Everyone wanted to be the hero. There where 3 possessions in the 2nd half where Wagner didn't pass once and just drove the lane and missed or turned it over some with Dillingham. They're both ball hogs who always think they are the solution but they just make things worse.

Every team is going to have cold shooting games. If this happens, the DEFENSE better show up! This Kentucky team better start showing up on defense now. Same ol shit again!

Veteran teams are the one's that usually win the big games.

While I love this team, the reality of the situation is that they are just another in a long line of Calipari coached teams who are far more interested in their NBA draft status than anything else. Calipari doesn't want to put the best team on the floor, he wants to put the future NBA players on the floor. In order for this team to win consistently, Reed, Z, and Onyenso need to be on the floor more than they are.

The next person i hear say how great this team is. And all the crap im going to punch in the face. We'll do good to win 1 or 2 games in NCAA tournament. Just like last several years.

Cal will have them rebuilt after this loss and have them ready for tournament. That said, WDE

This team doesn’t get out of the second round of the tournament. They are soft, can’t play defense , and can’t rebound. So tired of hearing “against us everyone plays their hardest and everyone makes shots”. Stop being soft and stop losing to unranked teams. This team is going nowhere.

Am I missing something? Didn’t cal recruit these soft guys ? He never recruits tough guys or gets them via portal. Every year it’s the same crap.
