Btw, i don't understand that there's not a toy company who makes scale models from the cars and trucks from the mad max movies because they would sell like hotcakes.
Repent to Jesus Christ! “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,” Philippians 2:12 NIV
You’re right Joe … American trucks do have a unique look to them. Its a reflection of wide open spaces and endless horizions that is America itself.I drive trucks here in Western Canada 🇨🇦.God Bless both countries.
You know For a Giant he's very careful while dismantling and renovating an old truck like that, that's gotta take a lot of practice to be so gentle given his massive strength already
He just wiped away the souls of every child and adult who enjoyed it over the year's. Old things if look at them a certain way tell wonderful stories. BTW I made pretty much the same comment a month ago. Sometimes things don't need "fixing".
I've never saw anything like this before. And all put together with screws. You turned that truck and trailer into a new one. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.👍
I'm reading the caption of this video and can't help but wonder, who would abandon this magnificent work of art? Even without restoration I would still treasure it😂
Feel lied to. The "rust" was painted on by an artist, and this guy comes along and undoes everything for his "restoration". And then the result looks less real and worse than the original. And I've never seen such a boring trailer as that one. One color for the whole thing? I've never seen one entirely metallic grey. Really uninspired and low effort once you got to the trailer.
I use to drive the Kenworth T600 over the road, very nice truck with lots of interior room and roomy sleeper. Iv'v never seen such a detailed model like this before.

Yes they were pricey in the day. I had 3 of them from Franklin Mint, 379Pete with Refer, 613Mack with Tanker, and this one we just watched. I do believe they were around $200-250.
I was a long haul truck driver for nearly 30 years I truly miss it the KW T600 I owned one it had a 60 series Detroit 450 it had a 10 speed Fulton transmission topped out at 110 mph... It was a joy to drive I had it for 4 years I put on about 800,000 miles on it... I owned 2 other trucks and drove many company trucks... Great restoration bud....
Nice job on the restoration. I drove a T-600 with a 3406 CAT and a 13 speed back in the 80s from NY to CA several times. Nice riding with a good view out front. And comfortable to sleep in too.
It’s a lot harder to make them look like new, then making them look like abandoned and trash just my opinion it’s nice to see the spit-shine every once in a while💯😎
I got the feeling that he makes them dirty himself. Most of the toys he "restores" look way too new to have been "abandoned", so he probably just bought it new, buried it in his backyard for a week or 2 and made it clean again
It's called weathering & you can make the newest things look really old & beatup if you're good enough .Took me years of practice .Some models just look far better weathered & with that really worn look especially earth moving & mining models.
I find it very soothing to watch these videos. having said that, I always find it interesting how easily the 'puzzle' is taken apart and reassembled, like it's been done once or twice before. I'm probably wrong, but still. Just a thought. Anyway, always like a new video. Keep it up!
Man I would have given anything for one of those when I was a kid. Not sure how long the mirrors and antennas would have lasted though lol. I’d have been tempted to have left the trailer at least as is. Looked totally old school and used which is good i a way too. Nice work.
Horrifying. The truck was much cooler *before* the awesome real-world character was entirely obliterated. It would have been much better to 3D-scan and replicate than ruin such a splendid work of art.
I'll be honest the old version tricked me I had to look at the details again because it looked so real. I wasn't sure if it was a camera trick that showed you playing with a real truck, until I got into it few more seconds and realized that this was just a damn good model. I don't think you should've restored it, because after restoring it the truck looks like a clean toy but doesn't have the realistic look to it that it formerly had. Either way amazing skills, I admire any one that can paint and has the patience to do all of this. I know I would easily be able to take it a part but then putting it back together I'd fail LOL.
