Ya was born in New Market Ontario Canada and we had nice large maple tree on our front lawn. Miss it some days. Use too climb it all the time when I was kid hah. Miss it with Changing of the seasons when leave changed. I Moved to Alberta, (outside of Calgary to farm) in 1990 because Ontario/Toronto was become too busy or more like New York Lol. We Never looked back and ive been here in AB canada since. We sold our horse farm back 2015, lived their for about +27+ yards. My parents got too old too look after farm and horses. I will admit. I miss those maple trees very much and do miss the farm. So much more peaceful and ppl are hell lot more friendly in country vs city. Not that Calgary is bad. But it’s growing. Good video. Could listen too that cat engine ?/ turbo spool/jake brake all day man. Good video as always. It sad that truck and manual trucks may not be around much longer. Hell manual shifting trucks and cars are already a dying fade. Will big rigs be the last vehicles that still offer a manual transmission. Love eatons fuller 13-15-18 speeds. While I’m no trucker. Just big rig lover and got full truck gaming/steering wheel/full 18 speed gear shifting setup as closed as can get without buying real thing. Love both the Kenworth w900 and Petebilt 379/389. Beautiful country side

Coming from NYC all my life.. Seeing that maple just filled my eyes with such a burst of loud color. It was beautiful I can't find a much better word for it. Gives me more motivation to see the road!! N Opie just looked like he finished that scene! Thank u for ur videos. It does make impact on ppl more then u might realize!

Hi Kurt, I like the scenery up in the gorge. I ran that route so many times I can’t remember . Truck sounds good and strong going through the tunnels. Opie looked like the boss laying on the bunk LOL. I guess he missed the Golden Arches you drove right past at night. My last truck was a W900 day cab pulling a long dump hauling rock and sand. It was a company truck with a Cummins and a 13 speed automatic and stock exhaust. Too quiet!. I ran a lot of two lane through small towns so I didn’t mind the transmission. It rode great especially loaded. Safe trip back home.

I had an old truck and took a load that dispatch forgot about going to Rocky point N.C. Not my first time going that way but it was the first time as an owner operator in my old tractor,, I reloaded in Virginia with 44 k lbs of peanuts going back home and I decided to take a short cut across W. V.,,,, That should tell ya all about the trip home... I'm a flat lander and like the flat land doing my 5 states around Ill. at least in a truck.

Great scenery over the mountain, thanks for showing that. Now i am not having a shot at you but a young bloke down here was showing off with his jakes this is after he showed off his truck (including his plate) he then posted it on social media, the cops and road authority raided his work place and defected and grounded the truck for a month, needless to say he got fired. With the air con i run the sleeper and cab together, it helps.

Spectacular scenery on this trip! Nice time of the year to be trucking/ traveling on this route. Love the sound of the jake brakes and pipes while passing through the tunnel(s) and on descending road grades. Music to my ears!

Well what can I say FIRST CLASS +jake brake + tunnels =hell yeh she sounded awesome i would have been tempted to turn around and go the other way through the tunnels lol and i think the little dog was probably one of MR OPIES fans and did he not notice the giant goldem M at the roadside, and what a stunning part of the world to drive through the views looked totally amazing and the headcam view works for me feels like im driving FIRST CLASS i wish 😊😊😊anyways give MR OPIE a good stroke from me and stay safe out there young man and im looking forward to the next video

You get my age and you and you will appreciate the quiet truck. I always loved the engine brake but put muffler on again and I’m fine with quiet so just listened to the turbo scream. Never had my German Shepard in the truck, don’t think it’s my cup of tea. As always see you next time
