We love you KDF. But you know that for many years now, we have really been troubled with your confidence in this obsolete jets when our neighbours have modern fighter jets. No wonder they boast about conquering Nairobi in 2 weeks. Lets give our citizens the confidence they should have on their armed forces. Lets modernise our airforce.
even US dont showcase their new & dangerous jets. Even alshaabab cant try air fight, they just hide within worias in eastleigh. KDF is brilliant, show them old ones so that they underate you.
our economy cannot sustain even one f-22,but maybe we can acquire few modern russian jets,they are relatively cheap and easy to maintain compared to the western ones
@@ndungu_kinyanjui the same f-5 that coud not provide aircover for our troops in el adde.?we need new jets with night vision capabilities,otherwise tusidanganyane hapa,they can always acquire modern russian jets which are relatively cheap compared to the western ones but we would rather make our masters happy than prioritize our national interests
Please KDF replace those old planes with new ones such as the F-15, F-16 and F-18 together with Mi-24 and Apache choppers and Lockheed C-130 and Boeing C-117 Globe master 3.
I would recommend F15 or F15x as our new inventory on air defence,this was the best fighter ever made in aviation history. ....the others after f15 are additional due to advancement in computer the real deal is the F15,.....45 pieces at the Airforce and 15 pieces for the navy which I believe we desperately need a air wing in the navy and a small landing platform at sea due to brewing territorial issues with Somalia
Seriously Kenya...when we ever gonna get new fighters...F-5 THAT plane is almost 70 years now...get something...well we have been having cases of billions of shs lost to corrupt leaders I think on my opinion the defense budget needs to be seriously looked in at... especially when it comes to the skies n intelligence...we should not wait until the day a bigger threat faces our country so we get prepared....we always need to be more ready... Kenya has the capability of acquiring more n advanced fighters like the Migs SU-35 n F-14s ...even maybe two raptors or euro Fighters typhoons would do...it all just needs planning!!!
