It's so horrible that these gentle magnificent icons are exploited for their ivory. Because of these poachers and hunters, we are losing something so precious, just for money and vanity. It is a very sad state of affairs when innocent, valuable, compassionate, gentle creatures are killed because they were born elephants. Shame on those responsible. Your money will disappear some day, but elephants will be extinct.😢
He's an icon. He's all that is good in this world. He's magnificent and stunning. He's powerful. And it's appalling that some people want to kill these regal beauties just because of two teeth, their tusks. It speaks volumes about humanity. And nothing is good.

I wonder how they get this long. A heard of ellies I follow break parts of their tusks now and then, as they use them to break stuf and dig with. Magnofocient bull, but they must be in the way a lot. 😍 Could it be age, in the heard I follow, the oldest males are about 46 years old.
Genetics plays a major role in Super Tuskers, as well as the mineral content of the local food & water sources as minerals help to strengthen the ivory. I pray that Craig lives a happy life for however long until he dies of natural causes. I would love for him to breed a lot before that time. He is beautiful. 🐘🥰❤️

The elephants in Amboseli National Park have been protected for a long time. Part of the issue is that the park borders Tanzania where they are once again allowing big game hunting.
