Value addition. Very progressive. A study said you can never be rich by just supplying raw materials like farmers do, but by producing such products from value addition.

Would be great if they exported to the U.S. Keep up the good work. Sending love from the USA to Kenya's people

So what can we do in Dispora to help Kenya.? It's not easy....🙄

Buy from local producers that would be a start even if it will cost a few $$ more. Then Kenyan producers need machinery or modern equipment for production. Also they need to be trained on quality production not just mere production cause to sell to most international markets which are on a higher scale than African markets, quality output is a must to be competitive. Along that we need to figure out how to make factors of production cheap and in 21st century, cheap electricity unlike what KPLC charges is step 1 as well as stable internet connectivity. Then control of importing goods, meaning local goods which exceeds standards are given market priority before importing competing foreign goods.

@@westmax8491 quality production to the"international markets" is a bunch of b.s is either you agree to their terms of trade or the enact protectionism measures aka international standards

iTS sad to see after all these decades Njoro has not upgraded its manufactiring processes. Why are they filling bottles by hand with a scoop and why are they shelling maize by hand. Infact there is a Jua jali maize shelling machine. Seriously in this day and age of automation. Who really owns the company. They can automate these processees using machinery to fill the bottles just like you see in beer processing plants.

The problem is many either don't know or the cost of machinery is out of reach for most producers. I think step 1 is there should be less taxation or import duty for machinery used in industrial production.

While i get your overall point, with the high unemployment automation will only make things worse unless you’re going to provide alternative jobs

@@johnlewis8340 but machines are inevitable. Machines in the long run cheaper than having workers. No litigation, monthly wages, speed of production etc.

Thanks CHAMSMEDIA for the highlights of Kenya economic progress. But we Kenya need good and corrupt free leadership for us to meet our full potential.Kenya is sitting on 600 Millions Barrell's of oil since we don't have funds to develop it and we are spending $63 Million a month in importing oil and it's by products. The Suguta Valley in Marsabit County has 10,000 Mw of Geothermal energy to be exploited can meet Kenya energy for good since it's renewable not to mention the Brine water steam from the Geothermal contains Lithium that means we Kenya can make Lithium Batteries.Currently Kenya Electricity output of 2500 Mw is not enough to make Kenya a Industrial Nation.

Gloves, Gloves and Gloves. Even plastic gloves would be OK. Despite them under going sterilization, optics do matter.

NOTHING and I REPEAT nothing beats clean hands, gloves give a false sense of cleanliness and workers relax on sanitization but with hands - no chance.
