Gotta' say, the way you portrayed both the first and second levels was STELLAR. Love how you took the original concept and added some real SPICE to it, especially that underground scene. 10/10, this almost makes me want to play Genshin Impact.

I dunno who this Lucas is but I like to think that they and the horror entity is in a sort of frenemy sorta relationship where they try to prank each other by increasingly wierd and nonsensical ways. Whereas the creepepasta Mario guy try to scare them, Lucas does everything in their power to confuse and frustrate him, such as turning into Keqing from Genshin Impact for absolutely no reason.

I have to admit I love the look of Mario 85 how reaffirming that it's Mario himself makes him look pretty scary Even the variety of powers is not enough, the transformation does throw fireballs and has great speed. a great video
