MY ADVICE FOR GIRLS COMMUTING ALONE! My home is in the outerskirts of my city and many times i have to take an ola from my college to home which is pretty far apart and the route is a little remote.. What I do is that after confirming my ride, I ALWAYS screenshort the confirmation page (containing the driver's name, photo, vehicle no. etc.) and send it to my father alongside with my live location..and i always keep my mobile in my hands and my eyes on the road. Also, I never lock the doors of the car! As for overly chatty drivers, I just say nothing or pretend to be on my phone and then they shut up by themselves... My most important advice would be to NEVER cower and show confidence even if you're scared inside! Trust me, they won't target you if they know you're not an easy target! Stay safe!

Okay but the 2nd story is pretty similar to what happened with me. Not completely though. I am just a 10th grader. One day i was returning home from school and it was pretty sunny and i didn't have an umbrella on me so i wanted to reach home asap. An e rikshaw stopped infront of me and i got into it. But as soon as i did the driver checked me out in a wrong way and started asking me questions like my age, name, my siblings, school. I told him a made up name too. Throughout the ride i felt sooo uncomfortable as he kept on glancing at me from the mirror. I stopped him before an alleyway to my home but what's scary is that he followed me to my way home i was so scared that i didn't dare to go to my home instead i went to my friend's house who lives just next to us and I broke down crying. I am really traumatized. Stay safe everyone. Make sure to assure that you can trust the driver first :(

I think the second story is vry relatable to many girls in some cases some face even extreme cases but more or less most of us face that uncomfortable feeling during online rides😢

I can somewhat relate to the first story i know some of yall don't believe it's true and that totally depends on you but i have gone through somewhat same because my father was so alcoholic that he used to take all the money from my mom and drink and his so called friends also used to take him to the bar to drink and made him buy all the drink and then leave him alone after taking all of his money . I still remember my mom used to cry so much because she didn't had money to pay my school fees and buy vegetables my grandmother and grandma took my mom home and ky father came to their house but they said that first he needs to get a good home and he did after that he still used to do the samw and it worst thanks to the neighbours they helped but their husbands used to think my dad is a crazy man and he should be now in mental hospital because he used to talk to the ceiling in the midnight and as a. Child who was 9 year old it was very heartbroken moment for me because at that time all i could do was study , my mom did everything and she went to that baba and he told us that someone has did this and it tourned out to be my relatives and after that too my father was so close to death because he was in accident and no one helped us for money my mother's sister helped us, my childhood was so trumatizing that i don't want to go back where everyone wants their childhood back I'm happy that my father is doing great now and he loves my mother and me ❤

2nd story is similar to what happened with me on my way to work tgat also in broad day light. I jad taken rapido bike as i wasn't getting any empty bus and i was getting late for work. The rapido bije rider started talking to me on the way and he realised i cant speak kannada and asked me where i was from. I told him i was from Goa and he strated getting over friendly with me he started asking me if i was married and if not then do i have a boyfriend to which I replied no. He took a different way and i started panicking he strated telling me that im beautiful and we should go on a date and he wants to marry a Goan girl to which i kept silent and he raced the bike i told him to go slow and he asked me to hold him from behind if im scared he started forcing me to say yes to him and took my phone number once we reached my office he asked me what time i will leave from work so that he can pick me up to which i got so scared that i ran inside the office. My colleagues told me to raise a complain but i did not because he knew the location from where he had picked me and fearing he might take revenge on me i didn't raise a complain
