Annyyyy! Try the Sandstone soap at Lush. It WORKS!! It literally has sand in it so it scrubs intense and the lemon also help with the excess oil (make sure you put lotion after). I know I sound like a Lush Ambassador (I used to be one lol) but I was already sold on that soap before working there haha! I like it because I'm in control of the pressure I use when scrubbing different parts of my body. Warning: There will be lots of sand at your feet when you're done but it rinses easily and it never clogged the drain for me. I was hardcore when I started, I was using it everyday. That was the only way I could maintain the smoothness. Now I can space it out for my arms. (my legs will forever be a scrubbing workout haha!) I used to ask the Lush ambassador to cut it for me to get a huge block (instead of their tiny precut 100g) but I don't know if they still do it since c*vid. I would get a 25-35$ block, it's pricey but hey, it does wonders (and melts less fast when it's a big block). Start with their 100g to see if you like it! I'm thinking of trying the Wildpier exfoliating glove. I've seen lots of great reviews about with from ppl with KP. I get better results from exfoliating than any other products.. I hope this helps, good luck! xo
Hey, I don’t have KP, but Lume Body Butter says it is clinically proven to reduce it. I use all the other Lume products, and they changed my life. I’ve been trying products all my life to help my problems. I discovered Lume this year, and EVERY product does what it says, which rarely is the case. Thought I’d mention it.
I don’t have kp but I use some of those products especially the eucerin lotion & Cera ve cleanser the one for the face oh I also have that cera ve moisturizer fragrance free products are very good to use
Also CeraVe uses SA and that may not be the right acid for you, amlactin uses lactic acid and that could be the right acid for you. Look at their products as well
Boa noite, você já ouviu falar no peeling rose de mer? Ou peeling do mar morto? Eu tenho Queratose Pilar no bumbum, acredito q esse peeling é a solução pra nós....
I have two suggestion. I have done some heavy research on KP, as my Keratosis (KP) is very similar to your legs. I am about the same color. One thing I realized is that our KP has a darker pigment in those little circles which may require a lightening product. People who I have seen that had KP similar to ours on RU-vid, had success adding a papaya type soap/scrub or Kojic acid soap to their routine to lighten those tiny dark circles. This is my first suggestion which I am going to try myself, and if that doesn't work my second suggestion is to go to Instagram and buy from this shop called @mirabellenaturales. Her shop is the only one I have found that had authentic before and after pictures of black people with KP that got rid of the circles. She is located in Africa, but she ships internationally. You have to DM her on Instagram so she could recommend the best product for your arms and legs. I am going to buy from her as my second try of hope.
Hello, I have the same problem! Try to add vitamins such as vitamin d + k, magnesium, omega 3, liposomal vitamin c. Also there are many great videos that tell is how to cure it. My personal opinion that it is a complicated condition that relates to detoxication in our body. If u have time and you are interested, I would love to tell you everything that I now so far.
Thank you for all this. Yes, do leave your suggestions below or DM me on Instagram. I might find a solution. But for now, I’m going the simple and inexpensive route.
Don't use glycolic acid. It's not so good for skin of colour 🙂.It may irritate your skin and make your kp worse..You should use the products which contain urea, salicylic acid and lactic acid.
No real improvement. I started laser hair removal last month. I’m going to see what happens. I’m planning an update #2 video for the beginning of the summer.
