with the enterprise, I love how you sing the original television theme song, not a whole lot of people can recognise it, and even fewer can hum it remotely accurately.
You're a true legend of the game, this game would be nothing without people like you. Great to see all your tutorials, they have taught me heaps! Good to see you mess around a bit, good way to find new ideas. Hope you will post more KSP ideas, and tutorials on RU-vid in the future.
Oh yeah, but I'm talking about a game where you set a much lower speed of light, and indeed allow the vehicles to exceed this limit. But leave the sensors running at the speed of light.
Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet... The unit they were trying to shut down was the AE35 sub unit, to prevent communicans to Borg Space. This was a tip of the hat to 2001:A Space Odyssey, where HAL misdiagnosied failure of the module that was essential for keeping the dish directed towards Earth.. the AE35 unit.
The EMP Hydrogen mod a good one to have , and the fustek harmony mod to make nice looking space stations with giant solar panels , and the solarsail mod
That last bit w/ jetpack was hilarious. If u could've gotten back in the cargo an regained control of the plane u would truely have been a KSP god. As of know...you're pretty close... ;)
While trying to get into formation with the aircraft after exiting it in Project Valkyrie 12:30, You may find that you can control the little Winged Jetpack better if you'd not have it at 100% throttle 100% of the time. For those who say he did toward the end, yes he did, but only to keep it from flaming out. LOL As you suggest Scott, flying aircraft isn't your strongest suite. Tks for your time & good videos!
He wants it to go in a linear line which is possible in space. North South East West is null and void is space which I think is what you were confused about.
Unrelated to the video but this popped into my head when you were in one of the Star Trek cockpits. You should do some subscriber videos when Star citizen comes out and we can be your crew! Or squad mates. I think that would be fun
Picard IIRC was second officer at the time while on the Stargazer, however in the battle of Maxima, the captain and first officer were killed when the Ferengi opened fire on the Stargazer. Picard at that point took command and turned the battle. It is unknown which vessel he was on as First Officer before getting command of the Enterprise-D
I love how at 11:00 you just made up some complete bull and then ended it with "or whatever". Great improvisation about what was happening though, although what you said would cause it to break when you wanted to go forward and go forward when you want to go backwards (since it is reversed).
I have to say that the Borg Queen did make sense to me. She wasn't an individual. If you consider the Borg's hive mind to be gestalt entity and then give that entity a form you get the Queen . So she literally was the Borg.
After seeing this i tried to build a Kerbal version of the Phoenix with interstellar..the mod needs nacells and a rly slow warp engine to start with that you can upgrade
I've just discovered a great mod called the Davon TC systems mod. "This includes but is not limited to separate, additional throttles to which individual engines can be slaved, several settings which modify the response of individual engines to throttle input such as having the engine burn at a fixed level, at a certain fraction of the throttle input or to level off at a certain output." Would love to see you try this mod to see what kind of asymetrical contraptions you can come up with :D
The ae-35 unit they work on in first contact is also the name of the unit that HAL fakes a fault on in 2001. Nice little easter egg I was sad enough to spot straight away. :-)
This makes me want to play the game. I bought a copy for my girlfriend's son and he showed me a bunch of cool stuff and I didn't know you could mod it, until now.
You do know that that kerbal model of the enterprise was going at like 2 % the speed of light so its like really slow impulse that you were going at (although the animations make you think that full inpulse is like 500 meters per second)
I totally agree with you on ST "First Contact" they didn't need to add a queen to the Borg. They were much scarier without a queen and "First Contact" was the best TNG movie.
Uploaded images are scaled / cropped before being displayed. In most cases, only the first frame of a GIF is scaled and cached: no animation. If no scaling is required, the animation will be fine on some platforms.
