Bro, what?! You got FIVE shards outta 10,000 you bought with real life cash?! It's not even pay to win, it's pay to gamble at low odds!! Ridiculous!!

Kermit's Box is 100% a scam, and Gameloft doesn't care one bit. Its just a part of them wanting us to gamble just to get certain stuff for Kermit. Why was it necessary to put Kermit shards at 5.00%..? I spent $40 on this box itself, and got NO Kermit Shards. I personally felt scammed out of my money. Talk about greedy.

I wanted Kermit the most this season 😭. I only needed 1 more objective 😡

Yesterday i see someone complain on official discord server about spend 20$ on this box just try to get Kermit shards to help him go for 2* and unfortunately he only get crew members (No epic)

I'm one shard shy of being able to level Kermit up, so I bought some boxes. I didn't count exactly, but spent probably about 7000 tokens and got ZERO shards for Kermit. Yeah, I was pretty mad.

Gameloft needs to improve these boxes and stop rigging them

There's something noone adresses, I think Gameloft is actually cheating on us. If you look at the top racers in the current event, some of the best times were set by some level 50 Kermits with multiplayer rank 0...with a 5% drop rate in the box it means thousands of dollars spent for a single racer...ridiculous!!! I bet those are Gameloft devs using fake accounts

I got lucky and had the characters at the levels needed for the events to get Kermit It really sucks how they keep getitng stingy and greedy, really makes me worried about the next seasons

Hey Skyliner, I'm not against this game's shop being with full with microtransactions since Speedstorm is a free-to-play game however, I'm against of how the developers monetize their game with it's in-store prices. The fact that most of the item boxes are completely charge with tokens and real money instead of season coins is absolutely ridiculous. It's already hard enough for us Speedstorm Players to earn tokens without paying for them since the only way to get them with collection levels and multiplayer ranks and then, they want us to spent our real-hard-earn working-money for some boxes that doesn't give us the exact rewards we want as players.

I have a question, sometimes when I am going over somewhat jumps that kinda launch you high that some people go lower than me and so they get back to the ground sooner and boost past me, so is there a way to make your kart jump lower like pressing back on the jump or something

I spent some of the tokens I saved up on Oswald shards so I could upgrade Oswald to a 2-star racer and complete his challenge in the "Not Easy Being Green" event to get the last shard I needed to unlock Kermit. I unlocked Kermit, and with most of my remaining tokens, I bought some Kermit shards. I now managed to get Kermit up to Level 13, and I unlocked Robin as his epic crew member. If I manage to get another $10.00 eShop card before the "Moving Right Along" event ends, I might buy more Kermit shards with it. Despite being seven levels underqualified for the "Moving Right Along" event, against all odds, I managed to get first place in my third attempt and got to the top 50%.

they just re-released this box, and the chances of kermit are now at 10%. after 7 tries, I only need 5 more shards to unlock. But I got 5 shards on the FIRST try. Such is life...

I got more in wall.e and eve boxes than kermits box

A while back I paid like 50 ish dollars to obtain Eve in the Wall-E box and only got the 5 shards I needed to just unlock her in my second to last box.

If they don't increase the drop rate what they really need to do is to have 5 boxes for ever 500 and not 5

I got lucky and got more than 10 shards. Not only did I unlock him but got him to level 35 as well. I agree get the Kermit Extra Shards Pack though it’s also terrible value.

Yesterday I spent the last 500 tokens that I had on this box just if I could get one shard and unlock Kermit. I only got x4 Scooter and two x7 Sweetums (14 in total). Now watching this video that gacha box is really obssesed in give Scooter shards frequently.

Gameloft you should be ashamed. Terrible businessmen, think of how many gamers would want to install Speedstorm for Kermit who won’t get it and will uninstall.

How do you get lvl 20 Kernit? I pass all the event except last 3 missions in expert and superstar and i got to lvl 18 in ranked and only got to lvl 19 kernit.

I got absolutely lucky. I spent 1500 and got 10 shards of Kermit and was able to also get Robin and Sam. I'm a BIG Muppets fan to the point I even spent just for his fancy outfit. Normally I wouldn't but the Muppets hits my heart.

As a f2p player, it's absolutely ridiculous. I love the muppets and the only reason i stuck around in this game as long as i have is due to the chance of the muppets coming. I got very lucky and i bought a single box with the last remaining tokens i had and got enough to unlock him, but i know not everyone would be as lucky as me.

Sadly I won't be able to unlock him at this time as I don't have all the characters such as Oswald. But lets face it, at some point he'll be able to be unlocked with one of those 9.99 packs. At this time I got the only two characters I was willing to buy anyhow.

You're better off paying 560 tokens for 5 shards, which is said because spending 5 dollars is required to two star Kermit & to even do the Limited Event. PS: Good Luck to all F2P Kermits that need to reach MPR 23 to unlock his skill cause I've given up already.

This is the biggest scam I’ve ever seen in a video game and there’s level 48 whales in the leaderboards of his event is outrageous! They either hacked or have spent hundreds of dollars on the box. I’m just looking at it well… it ain’t my money going down the drain like that lmao

I am literally ONE shard away from getting Kermit. When I saw that I needed Oswald to get that last shard, I genuinely wanted to scream because I NEEDED Kermit. REALLY BADLY. Unlocking him was THE most crucial step to unlocking Kermit, and here I am, not being able to unlock him because of being a SINGLE shard short. Then I checked the shop, and saw the Green Connection Box and its 500 Token price. I had a little over 600 of them. I only had one chance to secure that last Kermit shard I needed. So I took the risk and paid up, praying Speedstorm would be generous. It wasn't. And now I'm stuck with 2 crew members I can't even use. This event pisses me off on a personal level too, because Muppets was one of my most wanted franchises for this game, and instead of being allowed to enjoy it, I'm now forced to watch other people play him in Online Races...

If you are new to the game it is really bad. If you have been playing since the launch of the game then it is fine. The box seems like they are more worried about the players that have been playing for the long run and have a lot of free money from the different racers that they ranked up. I will say that it is bull crap for new players that just joined the game. Everyone should have a chance to get him. Not to just have to pay and try and get him knowing you need a lot of shards just to make him good in rank. It's not like they give you a catch up pack that gives you all characters level 30 except the new ones. It's impossible for a player to get the epic characters that aren't even worth being epic characters at all. Let's take Hans he is a common character and basically is the fastest character in the game at top speed. If you look at Aladdin he is just a rare with an ability that should be on an epic character. Kermit is a rare and a speedster. Where does he fall at with all the other speedster characters in the game.

i am just over this game by now i will probs return when nightmare before christmas drops but this game just sucks when it comes to unlocking new characters also splitting the pass in 2 and having a driver from the first pass be on the second is not worth the pass tokens or currency should just go back to it all being one long season if the pass is like that how do you have 5 characters to pick from and choose fix it felx twice like could of had king candy on first with Vanellope and then fix it felix with sergeant calhoun on pass two instead it just comes off lazy and like a bit of a cash grab cause your working towards only one golden suit and duplicate currency which is less value in my opinion then the first pass
