This interview actually makes a LOT of sense after you watch Muppets ABC. They’re cynical, angry, and jabbing at each other because the breakup is new and the wounds are fresh. In the show, they become friends again, attraction redevelops, etc. This interview works great with it. ESPECIALLY 3:23 I mean, that’s a lot of pain right there lol

I think they just avoid saying ages at this point, because the Muppets have been around for like, what, 40-50 years? But the characters themselves are not meant to be 50 year olds. They're characters that never age. Therefore they never say any numbers as far as how old they are. If Kermit would have said that she's 25, he would be called out for dating someone half as young as him. But if he were to say that she was 45 or 50, it wouldn't make sense because the character neither looks nor acts like someone that age.

Clearly a lot of people never watched the muppet show... It wasn't a 'kids show' it was a 'family show' they had some goofy characters and skits for kids but a lot of the celebrity guests were people only adults would recognise. There were also a fair amount of jokes and gags aimed at the adults alone.

Im not the person thats all sad and depressed when Celebs or youtubers break up. But here. Im genuinely sad. Miss piggy made the romance so hilarious. And Kermits as the nervous one. But when he gets romontic, hes gunuine. And as soon as he see her in trouble he would save here. Their love was true. The movie,even tho children saw them, had complexity to the Kermits and Piggy story. The Muppets was a breakthrough in thet plot. But here its dumped down to the real world. Thats not wgat we want. We want a fastasy land full of wonderfull and colorful characters. Not harsh reality. 0.02% of my childhood is dead due to this breakup.
