The sex scenes have to be horrible with all those people watching. I'm guessing Kerry was talking about how she's not an extrovert in life, so being one on film doesn't come naturally to her. I love Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn.

+LadyJay882 I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing that. Even though KW and TG are friends off camera, she doesn't want the Olitz bedroom scenes taking away her talent as an actress. She really worked hard to make a name for herself, but now most viewers just like her doing sex scenes, its humiliating as an actor. But Tony is unknown in the acting world and likes the media attention he is getting as Fitz, so he tries hard to keep that storyline with Olivia going.

Am I the only one who thinks she's only saying what she "should" say here? Watch her body language during that question about Tony. She is completely folded up and tense and kind of defending her response. Subconsciously I don't think she believes her own answer. But she has to say it. Don't tell me you have that authentic, deep chemistry with someone and you are doing all these intimate, highly intense sex scenes with that same person and "it feels like a job"....Not buying it but okay. I understand that's what she has to say.

Sorry Nithe Lee Olitz is Scandal but since Shonda has gone out of her way to break them up, ratings have been alarmingly declining, a bunch of people have stopped watching the show they didn't sign up for the route the show has taken since S3. Scandal has one season left before ABC cancels it, this isn't Grey's Anatomy, it's not going to get to season 12th. Scandal put Kerry on the Map most people didn"t know of her before the show. Yep, she's done some subpar movies that doesn't make her a movie star by any stretch of the imagination. Of course she's not going to admit that she loves the love scenes, she's married. Even Stevie wonder can see she's very much into them.

I don’t understand why people want her to be lying and don’t understand her. faking being intimate on camera with someone is uncomfortable. why would it be someone you love? the actors on this show seem respectful and comfortable with one another but it doesn’t change the fact that it wouldn’t be the most comfortable thing or the thing you’re looking forward to unless you’re a weirdo

I know that Tony admitted that he enjoys the love scenes thoroughly on Colbert Late Show. I love Tony's honesty. I agree Kerry says this, only to keep their spouses from feeling insecure. Plus, she did admit that she loves her job, as well as Tony too.
