30-year-old American singer-songwriter Kesha's climax range on her promotional single "Woman." Can you guys believe we got ANOTHER sustained F6?! ••• Connect with me on Twitter: / vocalstation
When I first heard it I was shook for life... I certainly didn't expect another F6 after "Praying"... I hope this will become her thing though... could you imagine, a high falsetto in every song? LOL :D
Mojo she is more likely to dodge them tho. I have a feeling that this song will be the first F6 that she'll hit live. Not emotional at all and joyful...
Her F5's here are actually pretty nice :0 I am impressed by that upward run. If she has another soprano F on the album I am labeling her as the queen of that note şhxkkdkgfgk
"Don't touch my weave" You snatched my freaking weave and I have to buy a new one again Kesha slaying again with her vocals, I really didn't even know she has such vocal ability. *weave snatched once again*
I didn't make a full range video because I didn't hear any especially notable low notes, but there may be some harmonized. I think that the F6 and F5 here are a LOT better than the ones in "Praying," which goes to show how she can change her vocal for whatever emotion she's working with. Also, the run to that C6 is INSANE. I cannot wait for Rainbow!
She isn't a mezzo because her voice is not dark (she sounds strong in her low notes but that doesn't mean anything) and her timbre is too tight and small to be a Full Lyric Soprano. She's truly a Light Lyric Soprano with a tessitura of a mezzo soprano.
A Mezzo don't need to be dark or have good low notes after F3. She have a Full Lyric tone but, like you said is not full/ big enough. Full Lyric tone and Lower tessitura than others Lyrics sopranos fits perfectly with Leggero Mezzo Soprano. (And her voice is not that small, she can be easily be classified as Lyric Mezzo or Full Lyric Soprano.
It's a little late, but can you do a vocal showcase for Camila's performances at B96 Summer Bash? She performed Crying in the Club, Havana, I'll Never Be The Same, Bad Things and OMG.
