I'm always wondering where does the keshi ~ that always presents on his song came from. Thanks to this documentary I was finally able to know its origin, a very wholesome one.
I could watch a 100 hours of content like this documentary, wish it was longer. For real, since Gabriel was released it’s been my jam ever since. Not a single day went by that I didn’t listen to it, it’s such a piece of art.
Seeing keshi grow from covering songs to SoundCloud up to seeing him produce his first ever full album. He never fails to impress me and be inspired by him. I hope I can watch u perform those songs live in Manila!!!!
The way he talked bout the story behind his tag (“keshi”) and found out that was mai’s voice the whole time, ISTG I BALLED MY EYES OUT THATS A FREAKIN LOVE RIGHT THERE DUDE 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ BEST BOI 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
at 23:40 . I genuinely can't believe that they are considering not to include "westside" in the album. It is my favourite soundtrack in the album and good job with Elie's suggestion about the ending of "westside", it slaps bro. If you are reading this keshi and elie, thank you for the wonderful album, you guys saved my life. edit: fixed typos.
I started listening to keshi after my ICU nurse in Houston told me he was a close friend and I should give his music a listen. It really got me through difficult recovery after heart surgery, and he deserves all the success coming!
What he says at 17:07 about him changing his style is so true. When the album dropped i really didn't like some of the songs, but after a few listens i really vibe with songs like get it, and angostura
seeing the making of each song off of gabriel really is special and for every nuance he made, changed, fixed, you could feel that touch of keshi and the genuine passion he has for music, i really love that so much, it's so inspiring, it's raw, and it's so freaking beautiful
日本のライブ行けるか分からないけど、行けたらいいな、、これからもずっと応援してます! your big fan from japan 🇯🇵 (also im japanese and my gf is vietnamese so we are kinda same haha)
hi strangers, im so glad you've found this talented man, i found him during my darkest and toughest time of my life, watching him produced the album GABRIEL makes me really feel like that's the reason why we should keep living the life and think big, start small. He is already not my underrated singer anymore, in my heart you are the pill, the daily dose, my therapist.
whoa whoa whoa. this was very unexpected but I'm so happy they created this! love seeing a behind-the-scenes look to all of keshi's projects also seeing short hair casey is a throwwwwback
The song "Somebody" is literally a jaw dropped for me lol. It's really different in a good way because I think the beat was so sick but it's kinda shocking since the lyrics is "wow" hahaha. Then "Touch" came (that song made me cry coz it's so relatable in my situation during that time), man that was a lot of pain lol It made me wonder if Keshi experienced it. Then I heard he released an album which is Gabriel, I didn't played it at first then I red something (I think? Or heard) that it's kinda personal for him, I didn't hesitate to play all the songs❤️ and my favorite song of him now is UNDERSTAND yet GABRIEL, ANGEL, and Hell/Heaven hits me differently. I love em all
Man how does a person just pull these ideas out of their head like that and just consistently make banger after banger I’ll never understand it. Keshi is actually one of the best artists I’ve ever seen.
i never thought i could love this album more than i already did but it was proven wrong after this documentary. it’s so undeniable how much love keshi has for his music and for creating his art and gabriel is the biggest proof, his hard work is shown in every single song and from the moment i first listened to it i could tell how much detail was put into each song. thank u keshi for sharing such a raw and personal journey with us and congrats for this amazing album ❤️ can’t wait to see whats in store for the future!
One of my favorite things is getting to see just how much hard work and thought and care artists put into their work. This is such a great experience to see you work and be in your element
This is by far one of the best albums ever created hands down. It’s amazing all the work that was put into it but it paid off and (as always) they have created something beautiful
seeing keshi growing from few songs to his debut album until now having his own tour was emotional and so damn cool 🔥❤️every song he made is so genuinely his love and passion towards music and i can't get bored listening to them 🥰 since Gabriel is released, i have been jamming it every single day and sharing it to every friend i bumped into can't wait to see you at your asia tour in malaysia see you soon keshi 🥺❤️
I love the moment of 8:02, that feeling when you just 'know' what the other person wants. Keshi and Elie are the perfect team and it's such a great thing to see.
Keshi did exactly what he wanted with this album because everytime I played a song from it people were always intrigued, they wanted to hear more from him and I was happy to provide them with more. His music is such a vibe ✨️
When keshi talked about his perspective of what it means to be a fan of an artist I totally felt it. That was the feeling I got when I first listened to the album. It was different but that is the point of following, discovering your favorite artist again and again. I just love that. Thank you keshi for your work. And thanks to the team for amazing music, MVs, everything. I feel so blessed to have discovered keshi’s music once and to be part of this beautiful fandom
I've been listening to keshi since summer 2020 and seeing this album getting from a draft to the point of release really made me tear up. I am so happy for him growing as a person and as an artist. Keep up the great stuff Casey! I love you and support you with all my heart!
Getting to see inside the thought process and see and hear how his mind works behind the scenes definitely makes me appreciate him and his ART so much more if that's even possible. I love this man, he truly can make anything a masterpiece.
omg i love how we got to see a bts of how the album was produced - gabriel is easily my fav album that came out this year. all the songs are truly so beautiful and seeing how much work was put in to get these results makes me want to support him even more! love you keshi
When I saw him live a few months ago, he mentioned how mid-working on Understand, he realized it was a song about getting married to someone, and I thought that was the sweetest thing ever. The fact that they got that moment on camera... got chills again
The album is so good, the production, the singing, the writing, it's all leveled up from before but still distinctly keshi. You guys killed it, loved this documentary/behind the scenes, seeing the process is so cool. Westside is definitely my favourite song from Gabriel and it's sick to see the work put into it and how it went from being a weaker track to what it is now
Seeing the artistic growth is so beautiful. I love seeing that Keshi has found a warm, creative circle of friends! Much love for keshi, his friends, and his artistic visions in the masterpiece that GABRIEL truly, objectively is 🤍
Hearing him singing it on tour and then looking back , it’s crazy but he really is the hardest worker. Love you keshi in all the you do and wishing you great health and happiness ❤
I LOVEEDDD THIS!!! such a glimpse to what goes on in the studio and inspiration for young producers in the scene. Loved this. Thank you for creating this Kenji
24:56 you could feel the relief and satisfaction on the hug the timing on the song and the picture kenj, i would love to see more of these documentation on future album keshi!)
This was actually so amazing to watch and it was really fuckin' interesting. The melodies that are in the songs are just top tier and I really can't wait for the next release.
17:11 I agree with him saying that it takes a few listens, but to trust the artist. Many fans, or maybe first time listeners, don't give songs enough listens before judging it.
“a lot of my music started sounding the same” I can relate to you so much bcs I am a frustrated songwriter and this happens to me most of the times. I'm like 'wait this sounds familiar', and it turns out it sounds like my other song. Yeah, real struggle bcs I have to start all over again 🥲 So proud of you, Keshi!!!
Binged Listened to all of his songs last night cuz I couldnt sleep. I stumbled upon this video a fews days ago. I said, Nah, i'll watch this when i feel like it, 27 minutes is too long for me. And now, felt like today what the vibe, nowww after watching this comforting documentary, makes me wanna binge listen and fall in love to their music again. SUCH FWORD PERFECTION. I feel their hardwork and effort in this whole album. Wish to see you here in Manila soon Keshi :'(
i'll never get tired listening to keshi's song. it's just that there's this feeling that i am not complete if i didn't get to listen to his song. keshi supremacy 🛐🛐
Watching this made me get emotional. I've been a fan for 2 years (3 years in October), and I was fortunate enough to go to his concert. The love I have for Keshi is just unconditional and unmatched. I love his songs, his vibe, his love for his fans, everything. Definitely respect the art making more and more. LOVE YOU KESHI AND KULTS ❤️❤️
This is my second time watching this and it blows my mind. There's so much production, layering, mixing etc that goes behind. Plus the talent behind both of these guys is crazyyyyyy. Love the album through and through
This made me cry, this album really means the world to me im so thankful for Keshi, his music makes me feel unexplainable things. Thanks Keshi for your music really.
Thank you keshi. Don’t worry about us being convinced cause trust me I was convinced. One of your best unique albums since always I can’t wait for the next. Take care Keshi we love you 🤘🏽
keshi fr makes my days 100000x better. he makes music that i relate to, i enjoy, and his whole personality is just amazing. gabriel is such a masterpiece. i listen to it every single day. the way he expresses himself through music and what he says behind it makes it so much more enjoyable. we love you keshi !!
You know that all song in this album is so unique, but Toch so great for me. I can feel everything that he sang all emotion I can get them. It's so amazing.
Dying to watch the documentary of REQUIEM❤ thx Elie for super marvelous level of music creation and thx Kenji for recording all these precious memories🖤🤍Last but not least, really proud of u Casey🤠
So crazy to see all the variations of the different songs I've come to love in this album... and then the steps that built up into all those unforgettable moments in each one of those songs. Really awe inspiring... these guys are musical geniuses and can't wait for the next album
Seeing all the work that has gone into this album is amazing. Keshi is really such an underrated artist and his songs are so beautiful. All the work that has gone into this album was noticeable on his concert, it was such a vibe and I can't wait for future projects of keshi.
What a solid album. That’s what I thought the first time, that’s what I told myself a few days ago as I was bumping to it while I was tidying up the house and that’s what I’m writing now after seeing the making of. This reminded me about the reasons why I love this piece of work so much, especially when Casey was recording all the layers to Gabriel and Elie started playing the organ. I’ll cherish this album for a long time.
