Keep it. You’ve already used it, which would diminish his ability to resell it at a decent price, even if he originally listed it over retail. Just chalk it up as a lesson learned to read listings more carefully. It’s a bummer, but it happens.

Sometimes the more bells and whistles a machine has the more there is to break down, simplicity has it's pros. It made a great frappe and now you got me wanting one, but I just got the Creami so I will have to wait. Thanks for the videos.
You should add a scoop of NOW Unflavored Protein Powder to it to make it a complete meal with only one extra carb, but you are getting all of that protein that you need. The protein will keep you full longer than just the slushy.❤️❤️
Not exactly low carb, but it turns cocktails into slushies. I may have to do a full carb summer next year (slushie isn't available in time for this summer in the UK)
Return it. and get the one you want. It's a business deal, nothing personal. No karma attached. It's like buying something from Costco and trying it, hating it, and taking it back. It's a situation that is not a big deal to save some money. Hurts no jobs or no one personally. It's really not that big of a deal to return it. Looks primo. i use my ninja blender/bullet with ice/frozen fruit keto style to make soft serve or frappy milkshake depending on the mood. works well. literally almost every day😅 I am also trying to figure out how to get sherbert/sorbe consistency version. As a kid I used to order these killer sherbert coolers at the Friendlys Ice cream place.

Ok didn't I see one time you made a Creami recipe? for the most part you can do this same thing in the Ninja Creami. Specially if you have the deluxe one. And if you have all what you have in there then you could blend and put in several cups to freeze and then just grap and creami. Just saying! And this machine will only do slushi type drinks and its really expensive where the Creami can do soooooo many things. thanks again for the wonderful recipes!
Hmm… tricky… things to consider…Was it advertised as new when you purchased it? Cause they will take a greater loss if it’s now used. Did the seller have free returns? If so, I look at it as if you do not like it then it’s returnable. But I would also say you could just use this and wait for a sale on the one you really wanted. Then resell this one. 😊
I have the model with the other two options, but rather than messing with sending it back and trying to catch one on Ninja's site (out of stock) it's not that much of a difference. Don't know what you paid, but Amazon was gouging big time! You can change the coldness level and probably be the same lol. Love mine.
Dave, you can’t return it. You would have to return it in the same condition you received it, unused. You didn’t do your due diligence. As an eBay reseller yourself, you know it wouldn’t be right.
If the seller didn't offer Free Returns, you should not return it because you didn't read the Title and Description. Returns cost sellers time money and it could get damaged during return shipping. Please dont return things unless the seller offers free returns for any reason or the item clearly doesn't match the description. Read the listing and review all pictures before purchasing 😊
I like the mocha frappe but having to wait 30 minutes is too long for me. Wouldn't it be faster just to fill you blender with ice put in your ingredients and blend til smooth and icey.
Wow, I just went to the Walmart website and they have one with a 3 mode and one with a 5 mode. Very expensive. Check it out and see if it’s more or less what you paid. Return it if you don’t like it is what I say. Love your videos. You crack me up. 💜
Unfortunately, if the description was clear and the listing stated no returns, I would feel obligated to keep it. But if the seller is willing to accept a return, do what ya gotta do. I would love to see more keto recipes with this to decide if it’s worth the investment.
Can you make this and just freeze it in the freezer without the fancy machine. I live in an apartment and don’t have room for a fancy machine. Dilemmas abound.
Late to the party here, but you can't return it. You've used it now, at least twice and technically you've monetized it for your video. You picked the right sugar substitute, he had chosen an allulose blend. It probably wouldn't have worked because it doesn't freeze as hard as erythritol which is the reason you never want to use erythritol for scoopable ice cream because it turns into a brick.
Return it. If he authorized the return, and he jacked the initial sales price up higher than retail, ,and he broke ebay policy, absolutely freakin return it and get the one you want.
Do a give away. Make it where people have to like, comment, and subscribe to be eligible. Who knows, you may create enough traffic revenue to pay for the one you really want.

Keto recipes shouldn't be low calorie. First of all, our bodies don't metabolize calories. Secondly, keto means a higher amount of fat, because of lower protein and carb amounts. The books Keto Clarity and The Case for Keto explain this.
Keto is not necessarily a high fat diet… It’s a low carbohydrate diet, and how one chooses to do the rest of their macros is totally their decision based on what their goals and needs are. I am very high protein, moderate fat and low carb and what I do is still considered a ketogenic diet because of the low-carb aspect. Also, calories can be looked at if somebody is overdoing way too much fat and the type of fat they’re consuming. People that add extra fat to everything just for the sake of adding it will gain weight.
@Defensewhiz are you in ketosis? High protein is discouraged because it can limit the ability to get into ketosis. So, if you've removed most carbs, and protein isn't too high, then to feel satiated you'll have a higher ratio of fat (which makes it higher calorie). The original books about ketogenic eating make it clear that protein does not need to be high, and in most people, should not be high to get into ketosis.
@@TracyKMainwaring Ketosis for 10 years now. I’m not saying I don’t eat any fat, what I’m saying is I keep my protein higher than the fat, and I still feel satiated, fully fueled, and have not had a problem in 10 years. My argument from back in the early days is that people kept hearing that this was a high fat diet, and ran with that and just started eating exorbitant amounts of fat and calories for absolutely no reason and wondered why they gained weight. Also, people were limiting protein way too much, and their body was cannibalizing their muscles and their hair was falling out and they had no idea why. High protein does not limit you getting into ketosis. If someone is reducing their carbohydrate intake to a great extent, they naturally go into ketosis. That’s the biggest misconception about this diet is that it’s high fat. It’s not. It’s reduction of carbohydrates and that’s it and you choose the rest of your macros based upon your goals. Now I know weight loss is not everybody’s goal, it was never mine. I have type one diabetes and use this diet to fully control my blood sugar and to aid me in my professional sports. But too many people think it’s a high fat diet without truly educating themselves about how to go about it. Fat amounts do naturally lend to higher calorie intake, and I have no problem with that. But what I do have a problem with is people saying it’s a high fat diet and others read that thinking they can just eat without limits, taking all those extra calories, and then seriously wonder why their weight loss has come to a stall if that’s their goal. That’s the reason.
@@Defensewhiz I don’t believe a ketogenic diet is “high fat”. I believe it’s higher fat than what most people believe a diet should be, after being told for decades fat should only be 20-30%. If you reduce carbs significantly, and protein moderately, most people need to fill the gap. Protein requires small amounts of insulin. I have noticed that many people start off intentionally adding fats, but after awhile, they realize they don’t need to if they’re eating natural foods. My problem is that I cannot consume enough protein, at the recommended 2gr per kilogram idea. I just can’t eat that much food in my hunger window LOL. So, I need to be intentional about putting protein first, but by no means is it “high”. Higher fats amounts then happen naturally. For a lot of people, if they’re not getting into ketosis at 20gr carbs, they find they do need to reduce protein. What kind of ketone meter do you use? There’s been some great advances in the last few years, but I have a feeling not much is affordable (especially in Canada).
@@TracyKMainwaring I use a Precision Xtra ketone meter, but I only use it if I have some freak occurrence with my insulin pump, like I did last week where there was a kink in the cannula, and I ran a 300 blood glucose level. I changed the pump and took a megadose of insulin and got back to normal glucose in a few hours. I have been fat adapted for nearly all 10 years and do not need to measure ketones on a regular basis. I know, based off my sports performance, and just generally how I am feeling, what I need to do for my nutrition. I agree with you that this diet is high-ER fat when naturally consuming real food like beef ribeye, pork ribeye, chicken thighs etc. But in the case of this video, I have absolutely no problem with Dave keeping a treat as low calorie/fat as possible. That's what runs people into problems. 1/4 cup of heavy cream is about the highest anyone should go in that that's a LOT of fat for one or two servings. And as long as people are just eating the fat that comes on/in the protein they are consuming, like the fats in the meats I mentioned above, I have no issue with that either....it's all the extra people will add without any abandon, and rarely do I see people letting off the gas pedal with that UNTIL they start failing to hit their goals, be it weight loss, or whatever. It's not until they really search out the cause and then rezlize they do not need the extra fat they were adding into their diet. But in any case, the definition of a ketogenic diet is a major depletion of carbs, and that's it. And that's how it should be defined. The rest of the macros (fat and protein) need to be individualized based on needs. Someone treating mental goals or epilepsy, absolutely should be higher fat. Weight loss, maybe in the beginning when coming off SAD, but should quickly be tweaked once appetite starts to become satiated and then protein should become the focus.
