The Deadlift is an essential skill for everyone to know. Its how to safely pick up a weight from the ground using the hips, without compromising the back.
The kettlebell deadlift is actually a full-body movement which emphasizes the posterior chain. It is the first exercise to learn in kettlebell training.

This couldn't be more perfect if it tried. I was just trying to find out if I look straight ahead during the lift, and came across this video, which provided so much more information that I didn't know I needed! Thank you!

Most deadlift videos shows how a squat is done, this is perfect execution of a proper deadlift. Thanks ! Great video !

Bought this for my youngest to develop basic form for single hand kettlebell work. ru-vid.comUgkxtaDAl93XF8wxJhssTtjIFjzid82wglva It has a nice grip on it, just a little rough so it isn't slippery. I was doing a few rotator cuff exercises to test and worked well for those movements I'd been doing with a regular dumbbell. Cool thing you can do is hold it in your hand for door-knob turns to work the forearm and grip. Note: it's small, almost all handle, but that's what I expected given the weight. Smallest I've worked with before is 15lbs, so it was kind of funny to see the difference 10lbs makes.

Great tutorials, explanation is detailed yet succinct, and the thorough instructions help the viewer to maximize the movement and avoid injury. Excellent form as well. I hope you keep making these instructional videos, they are very good for building foundational kettlebell skills. Maybe you can do progressions next time (ex deadlift-shadow swings-2 hand swing-1 hand swing) so we can see how the basic movements lead up to more complex movements. Thank you

I have very limited flexibility to where i can't even get close to touching my my feet without bending my knees. I can only reach half way down between my ankles and knees. This makes is very difficult for me to do deadlifts since I feel strain in my lower back very quickly. Is there any way I can modify this? Any advice will be of great help. Perfect video by the way!!!

Really helpful explanation of mechanics and proper form. Can you explain the breathing technique, I watched it a few times, and I'm a little confused. Is it Inhale at the top, hold on the way down, exhale on the way up? Yoga teacher here, I'm probably overthinking it.

Are 20kg enough for overall back health? I am getting old and this feels good, maybe 30 kg max. I feel that my back is getting stronger but I am not interested in gaining lots of strength or hypertrophy
