They can’t get this stuff in my app. I’m told it will have to be another app. Apparently I’m a bit of a nightmare for programmers.

Hey Mark, I am older and less tonier. I took this 8x15 grid of yours, chopped it up by reps/day into 5 approx equal buckets, and assigned a group of ex’s to each bucket. BUCKETS/EMOMS: A- fewest reps/day - push-ups and squats B- swings & C&P C- snatch & 2H clubs D- 2H clubs & 1H club E- most reps/day- 1H club & mace … and thanks again for filling all these segments with content. The world is better … I’m randomly picking one coordinate per segment per day 6d/wk. This’ll get me through the end of July. It’s a start. Any advice? PS too bad those webdev ppl never learned to mpy X by Y and then by Z :( Thanks again, BA

So just following this I am trying to implement with the GymBoss App. Is anyone else starting with 10sec intervals then 9sec then 8sec etc rather than trying a strict RPM progression of 6/7/8->20? With 10sec -3sec in 1s increments the jumps are a bit higher in RPM but it seems a bit more actionable than going with some different app that inputs RPM for duration. Hope I’m not being too cryptic.

What weight recommendations would I begin to start with on this kind of soft style program for snatches? How would the weight compare to hard style training?

I would start below half of you clean and press weight because the time under tension is soooo my longer

Mark, how should one think about Time Under Tension (TUL) vs actual movement of the bell in context of the transitional physics of work? And are you suggesting this protocol allows one to train every day? Not sure how to consider the recovery time that allows for adaptation and growth in this context

So you’re saying I’m a weak bag of shit to not be able to do that at 62? Accepted. That said, do you see TUL as being less invasive to recovery than actual total work load measure by reps x load?

I am not saying that. I highly recommend cross training with clubs instead of doing this 5 days a week. Very very few people will get to 5 days a week.

Just kidding Mark - I totally agree and you are the inspiration to my total body transformation after 50 years of training, by incorporation of all those modalities under your instruction. I didn’t think most could do this every day - then I proved it for myself yesterday. I did 20 minutes of TGU’s nonstop as you outlined (up rom starting point of 10 minutes); then attempted 3 minutes of jerks with rest hold at top, 6 jerks per minute. Got to 20 minutes! I was/am wrecked. Amazing stuff!! This will be a huge add to everything else. Thank you!!

Mark, is the jerk an exercise that can be done more frequently because your joints are under less traction? You normally recommend 2 times per week, but you specify up to 5 times per week in this video. I’m so in love with my clubs that I’d be happy if I could do it 5-6 days per week if my elbows could handle it...

you need to adapt. most people can survive almost anything 2 days a week. the 2 days a week idea is just to accidentally distribute load. you can do 5 to 6 days a week. bring in heavy light, and 2hand / single hand.

How to I measure my RPM .. is there an app for this would be great if there was an app with this , And maybe other timing / timers ( looked up metronome , and mostly music applications that don’t go below. 20 bpm)

the app is now in the hands of the developers. they seem to be on there own time frame. currently there is no allowance for multiple profiles. because of the delays im going to release the programs on teachable. working on that now.

@@MarkWildman being an Android and iPadOS user, I feel left out😥. Joke aside, I am not sure about how it would work. It seems to be a great platform for structuring the différents aspects that your already presenting on RU-vid (thanks btw👍👏). But how would it work for the individual program construction and follow up of each training session?. That was the key part of the app. Thanks again for the channel and the program design explanations.
