Okay, fine. You win. Assuming we don't end up locked down again, I'll be reaching out to you shortly to find out about in-person training/coaching options.
great you posted this, many thanks!! I will use this to training for my first half marathon jerk next month. i've guess I can use the same format 5-8 ladder or do yo recommend me another ladder for jerks ? (e.g 5-10 ladder?). Also, why train 20 minutes when the competition is 30 minutes? how many times a week do you recommend me? thanks in advance! Best,
Not usually but I definitely have over the course of a decade usually rest and massage and other tools to make sure that I'm recovering in my tissue isn't getting too tight
Not Joe, obviously, but I'm kind of surprised to hear that. Whenever I work on snatches after neglecting them for a bit, it always feels like they're a PED for c&p/j. Of course, I ALWAYS do half snatches since I hurt myself a few years ago when I wasn't doing proper form, so that may play a part. Hope you find a good fix, though!
any advice on how to progress to a heavier load with double snatches? esp with bell differences of like 4kg that like an additional 8kg of weight when snatching doubles
Dude, hammering the C&J has done wonders for my conditioning! Yesterday I banged out 200reps of Dead snatch (alternating though) in about 8mins. I used undulating ladders, starting with a reverse ladder. I used an 18kg bell, that still wasn't anywhere near as tough as double C&J, idn't understand how these guys do that exercise for 10mins straight or longer!
