i used to have a K Compact that I'm now replacing with this model and I'm glad I watched this video. Thank you for letting me know that Keurig has a separate water filter kit that I definitely did not purchase haha Great video as well! I love that it's to the point and it covers all the features that I was looking for in a Keurig.
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ru-vid.comUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
I have this model. Pretty solid. I just wish it would have the 6 ounce setting. Even 8 ounces makes certain pod brands weak in my opinion. I've heard that some even older models had a 4 ounce setting. Great review you did here. I also didn't know they made a water tank filter. I'll be looking into ordering that as well.
IMO, 162F is perfect for me. That's what my machine just made and measured. It's hot enough so that you can only sip it, but not so hot that you're burning your tongue off. ALso, the K-Express you recommend does not have the multistream technology, which this one does have, which means it may not extract as much flavor as this one. Just things to consider.
Yes, i think it's more that the temperature cools down very quickly before you can finish it leaving you with cold coffee half way through. yes, correct, the K-express doesn't have multi-stream option.
Great Video. I DDI NOT know about the filter. How do you figure out how many ounces you should use? I am assuming the higher the ounces, the weaker the coffee.
Wish you should how do ice coffee part. Just got this same model and add water light keeps flashing. We dump water refill it cleaned it but add water light still on. Any thoughts?
This has been happening to me a lot the only fix I found is take off water tank and disconnect turn the whole machine upside down and shake like a crazy man and then it works 😅
You can't make iced coffee with this model. Try cleaning the needle area and wash out the pod holder. Also, dab clean the water reservoir connection point. All these areas are sensors for a blockage. hopefully, the light should turn off.
The water filter comes with the k supreme line and up, but that is going for 140 rn but if you do what i did and get the slim on sale for 70 bucks and purchase the filter separately for 20 bucks the total comes out to 90 bucks which is ten less than the k slim not on sale so not to shabby
Unfortunately, you can't change the temp setting on this model. If you're finding your coffee gets cold too quickly try preheating your mug by filling it with hot water for about 3-4 mins.
Cleans the machine of mineral build up and coffee deposits that my get stuck in the machine. Flushes and cleans out the machine to keep coffee tasting good and machine longevity.
