Don't forget to do a cleansing cup FIRST before making your first cup to drink. Read the directions. Only takes a minute and cleans the machine before you use it the first time.
Mine is brand new, and didn’t come with such instructions. Only instructions I received, was how to brew your coffee etc. the back water container had me wondering, as the bottom hole has a casing over it, that feeds the water from the container to the machine. Wasn’t sure if I need to take that off, as it doesn’t snap in tightly at all, which is strange considering it’s supposed to hold water. I might be overthinking it, but that should’ve have been in there/the instructions to fully install the machine, even if it’s very simple. No one likes mistakes, and there is always a question lol
This must be your first own Kuring machine ? If you use bottle spring water your machine will last longer and few cleaning of the water reservoir. My machine is 8 yrs old
Same! Literally nowhere in the instructions and it’s not even pictured (or even listed!) on the box! C’mon Keurig lol. Anyway thanks for the video that answered that question!
This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. ru-vid.comUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.
To the Keurig guy who decided to not include water filter setup directions- may your kids buy a shitload of IKEA furniture and lose the directions packet. 🤟
A curse upon Keurig for adding a consumable item like a water filter to the product. I added a whole house filter because I didn’t want to be locked into the RFID controlled, brand specific, $60 every 3 months filter for our GE fridge. Will the Keurig function without it?
Bought mine yesterday, up to now I’m very satisfied... Coffee is really hot, extremely quiet machine and easy to use. I heard about the splash problem, and one trick is to puncture the bottom part of the pod yourself, by pressing hard on it when you insert it, fast and easy. Somebody gave me a Nespresso machine to try it myself ( not the Virtuo one), and I have to admit that the coffee taste much better, better brew, creamy, BUT so loud that you can wake up everybody in the house! The Virtuo ones are much more quieter but the pods are very expensive for those on a tight budget... I will stick to my Keurig, good coffee at a fair price! Thanks for the well done video!
Yes, on for those on a budget Amazon and Walmart sell the five hole refills, review for best one, there are a few sketchy ones with no rubber so watch out. Agree on your statement on the Nespresso. Agree they have creamy coffee but what chemicals are doing that? 🤔. Keurig for the win. 🥇 ☕️
Thanks for this video! I just bought one on Bed,Bath and Beyond early black Friday Sales for $63. I have an old Keurig that still works good and I've had it since 2014, but I am ready for a new sleeker design. Now I am glad I bought it by watching your video!!
I just watched this, I saw how he did it and was going to say the same thing but was checking the comments and saw yours. you would think he would know that.
I love the hell out of this machine, two things it needs, one it splashes a little witch could be fixed by a slower drip. I can wait a bit because right now it's almost instantly, two different cup sizes so my coffee doesn't come out watery if I select a bigger cup. I.E a 6,8,10,12 Oz K-cup beautiful machine.
Hai , saya adalah salah satu store yg pernah menjadi material handle model k-supreme L812 black 😀 semua material itu saya pernah suplay ke dalam production dsn sekarang saya handle model baru namanya k-epress 🙏
I haven’t bought a reusable k cup for this machine yet. I’ll certainly look into making a video on this in the future. Thanks! Here’s the one I’m looking into: www.walmart.com/ip/Keurig-My-K-Cup-Universal-Reusable-15g-Filter-MultiStream-Technology/333567394?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&&adid=22222222228000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=42423897272&wl4=pla-51320962143&wl5=9009746&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=333567394&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQiAlZH_BRCgARIsAAZHSBmp3phq246C8CH_RZhVLmQzQFl9LGykhASQGPClYJxgY-5u8TkummIaAhqpEALw_wcB
I have this same one but it comes out in I small stream of coffee and 2 bigger streams of water splashing out making coffee weaker. This is my 5th Keurig and I’m not liking how this one is doing. Help
Does it have a timer? That's the one thing I miss about traditional coffee pots. I could set it up the night before and wake up to coffee. Just smelling it throughout the house motivated me to get out of bed! :)
@@ViratPatelYT I thought it was supposed to take like 30 seconds? Are you doing the biggest size? You think the elite would be faster since it preheats?
Awesome video, only issues is what I’ve been reading and agree from having a white kitchen it sucks. On my first brew, those drips and splashes are horrible . Older one had better stream when it went into cup mug. Fail on the exit spout!! 🤔☕️. I need to build a shield 🛡 around mug or modify with a 3D printer to make a cone to funnel water 💦 in a line. Fail keurig after $150 design. Makes decent coffee n the end. ☕️
Nice video but you are supposed to fill tank with water and running it 100% out before use that’s what I’m doing now. They gave me a replacement my first one broke during my first descale.
I've had multiple Keurig brewers over the past 10 years. This model makes a mess when brewing. I noticed in your video that it splashes all over the back as well as all over the counter. Any suggestions?
Hi I Love my new coffee maker BUT… I can’t figure out why the descaling button keeps blinking. I only have had this machine for about 3 months and descaled it twice and still blinking…..
Take the water jug off the machine. Remove the insert on the back bottom of the machine. Once you remove that, you push the water tray down and swing it back. Then you insert the insert on the side of the machine.
I bought my machine for Valentine's day and I have to say I hate the splash mess this makes. My machine is white so I'm wiping it after every cup as well as wiping the counter and backsplash. Any suggestions fellow users? I am going to try to use a super size mug and see if it helps. I use my own Gevalia ground coffee.
Me too I had for one second add water light after plugged in and hit power button. Now nothing - even tried another outlet! Defective. Oy. I want coffee.
I bought this machine for Black Friday. And I really like it. But the coffee machine keeps making a squeaking sound every time I make a cup of coffee. Can anyone tell me if that’s normal?
Did you mention the defect this has I had it only for a week and it stop working I don't recommend to buy it if you forget to put the water filter or place it incorrectly when brew it will never turn on again I hate it because there should not be such damage just for this minor thing
@@ViratPatelYT that’s so weird, why do they say 35 seconds? And I thought I timed it on another video one time and that’s all it took. May have been a different model. I just want one that’s going to be fast and quiet and not messy. For tea. Do you know if the hot water button on the elite model is any faster than just regular coffee? Or is the only thing it does is bypass the need for you to open and close it
@@ViratPatelYT I was going to return the K iced plus from target since I got an $80 on Black Friday sale but although it looks gray in the picture, it’s actually more purple in reality and it looks like the color of a computer from 1999. So, when I go to exchange it, I was wanting to make the best decision. But then it hit me, why don’t I just do my own experiment? So I just opened this one out of the box so I can at least see how this one functions.
@@ViratPatelYT Okay so on the K-Iced Plus I got one minute 14 seconds. Compared to the microwave which takes 3 1/2 minutes. So this saves me two minutes making tea. I was kind of hoping for something better..
@@ViratPatelYT and the water doesn’t even seem that hot. So I wonder if I could’ve just gotten it this hot in the microwave in that amount of time. I don’t see it boiling or anything.
What did you end up going with? I’m looking for mine for tea as well. The elite model has a hot water button but you can get it done with any of the other machines just by opening the kcup spot and closing it.
Really depends on how much coffee you make. I make 1 cup everyday and I change the filter every 3-4 months. You can buy filter and cleaning kits for the machine from amazon (amzn.to/3KnTL32) or any other department store. I made a video on how to clean or "descale" the machine: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TurSZDZgdz0.html
WE MUST HAVE HAD 20 COFFEE MAKERS HERE AND FOR MY LIFE HATED EVERY CUP I HAD. NO MATTER HOW LITTLE OR MUCH COFFEE I ADDED IT CAME OUT STRONG AS MUD. BUT THIS ONE (NOT THE SUPREME ONE) IS AMAZING AND EACH CUT IS DELICIOUS. SADLY THE COST OF 30 CUPS IS THROUGH THE ROOF!!
