Kevin Costner’s Horizon Is as Bad as You’ve Heard

The film features two massacres, the Apaches who wipe out the Horizon settlement and the revenge massacre led by white survivors. The film also features indigenous characters, such as Tuaheseh and Pionsenay, who face off against their militant son, Pionsenay, who led the Apache massacre at Horizon. However, critics argue that the film represents Costner's shaky RINO political stance and the celebratory Western genre. The film also takes some of the qualities of traditionalist Western filmmaker John Ford, but the disturbance doesn't come across.
