Kevin Costner Admits To Feeling ‘Broken’ Over Christine Baumgartner Divorce

Kevin Costner is admitting the last year has been a difficult one for him. In May 2023, his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce. Amid the separation, Costner was producing “Horizon: An American Saga,” a 4-film period drama. The actor not only stars in the project, but also cowrote, directed and invested $38 million dollars of his own money to get it made after struggling to find financial backing from film studios.

One had to respect this man and his belief in himself and his work ethic! No human alive works any harder. He loves his children, and he loves his work. As Kevin says, here we go! Horizon is epic! Kevin Costner knows what he is doing in his movies, his life’s work. No one does it better!

I remember when they got married, I told everyone she will divorce him in about 20 years when he gets really old, just like most younger women do when they marry a much older man. She stayed with him long enough to secure herself a good lifestyle after she divorces him. This happens all the time, but these older guys still keep marrying these young women, then twenty years down the road they're devastated because she divorces him. I'm a 68-year-old man and have been divorced for 40 years this past December. I never even thought about getting married again. I guess it turns out that Kevin Costner is just an old fool.
