Kevin Costner Breaks Silence on Yellowstone Drama 

Yellowstone isn’t worth watching without Kevin Costner. It’s a wrap for me.

Such a classic case of studio greed. Paramount is milking the hell out of Taylor Sheridan to scale their network, and Yellowstone was sacrificed in the process. Even worse, they put the blame on the guy who kickstarted the whole franchise in the first place. They were riding on Costner’s name when they launched Yellowstone. Now they made him a scapegoat. Ungrateful bunch, really.

Yellowstone won't be Yellowstone without Kevin Costner.

I knew all this stuff was a lie and I am so glad to hear he is finally speaking up for himself. I only watched it because of him. He MADE and is the only reason for the whole thing and fight, his character. Love you sir!

It seems unfair that such an iconic character that launched a legacy franchise will not be laid to rest in a respectful way for the fans. He should stay in his place until the story ends properly. John Dutton is a historical character for many reasons and Sheridan needs to respect all Costner’s masterful portrayal has given him by allowing him to participate in the last two seasons as originally planned.

Costner is yellowstone. If they cant work with kevin and bend the knee, then they need to wrap it up. Costner is screen gold

This makes me mad Taylor Sheridan really is making a bad move here.. Kevin is a crucial part of this show! When the heck is Yellowstone going to return already . Sheridan your slowly destroying something so amazing! Yellowstone will be Number 1..

This man is an American treasure. For the studio to disrespect him in this way is so asinine as well as ignorant to his legacy of storytelling. They need him; not the other way around.

I think some of the ABSOLUTELY MOST WONDERFUL NEWS WOULD BE THAT KEVIN COSTNER HAS BEEN CALLED BACK TO FINISH UP JOHN DUTTON. OR WHAT WOULD BE EVEN MORE WONDERFUL IS THAT THE YELLOWSTONE WOULD BE FOR THE 7 SEASONS AS ONCE BELIEVED.

The last season of Yellowstone dragged on and went no where. The stakes weren't raising in the story. It just felt repetitive.

I absolutely love the show, it's like going to see movie every time it's on. Can't wait till it's back.😅

It’s clear now who is at fault. It’s the studio and Taylor S. They practically want no competition and want Kevin not to work on other projects. They expect Kevin to be loyal while they have 2 other spin offs and 1 on the way. Kevin said he could seen himself doing Yellowstone for 7 seasons. He never said ONLY Yellowstone. Kevin is a legendary actor when it comes to westerns so try and bully him into a corner is straight greed. At this point, they don’t deserve Costner. He is one of the main reason why Yellowstone is so good.

They need to bring 1923 back!!

Say what you will, but I think Costner’s history is he’s always spoken up or did the right thing for anything he’s involved in during his career otherwise this drama wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened in his career & the importance has always been on his characters & I think it says a lot that he’d still want to give his character an ending. Regardless, it’s not Yellowstone without him Truthfully, the Yellowstone saga was coming to a head anyway, stories & characters were becoming satirically repetitious & I say this as a fan. Hopefully they can come together for a proper end it deserves. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yellowstone went from a great action packed, family drama, great characters, plots and more for the first three seasons to a boring ass country music video. Sheridan fell asleep after season three, y’all know the season of pure cliffhanger excitement only for season 4 to completely fall off and the show has been complete boring trash since. What the first three seasons sold us is not what the 4th & 5th seasons delivered……Costner has every right to move on because Sheridan’s weak ass writing has destroyed the show, I couldn’t care less if they do make another season, he doesn’t respect the fans, making spin-off after spin-off to pad his pockets all based on a series that he hasn’t finished but gave up on years ago. Sheridan is a Charlatan.

Sheesh I think him being off it would be better. The last season he was almost killed off but he stayed on. Why in the world would the main producer even ask him to be the character almost the main one, when he doesn’t like him. Get him off and see if yellow will last. All I know I heard is season 6 is the last one. So don’t go making more season

I’ve seen all seasons of the show, just in case you are wondering, the last season was absolutely atrocious. Some dummies will disagree but they are the brain dead members of society who enjoy a show that just shows cows walking around while country music plays, I’m telling you, the show was so insanely bad in the last season I am not surprised he said fuck this and bounced. The show had no story in the end. Kevin’s character became the governor which was something completely opposite of his characters nature, so the show got boring, he sat around in a suit and they did boring shit, the show fell off so hard, they let off the gas and the shows writing just got worse and worse with each episode, 5 episodes would go by and very little would happen, in a good show, a ton can happen in 2 episodes. Yellowstone is dead.

Sheridan can ride a horse. i thought he was a pro rider. that's all i have to say. the rest is drama for the mamas.

I think Yellowstone isn’t worthy of Kevin Costner anymore. The story was very good at the beginning, but it went downhill fast. It became an over the top soap opera with very cartoonish characters. It's obvious that the creator has too many projects on his plate, and quality is the first thing being sacrificed.
