Though is great entertainment but I was born in 1956 and I easily remember the 60's and 70's when the Sheriffs and such were far away from most folks to be much help. If a thug needed to learn a lesson, he was taught the lesson. Child molesters neither saw a courtroom nor a shrink to help them "cope". The first drug dealer in the little town closest to us was told to leave town. He refused. Unknown "Angels" tied him to a pickup bumper...when he left the hospital, he never came back to the little town. Men who beat their wives were "visited" by their male in-laws. Sadly, many men today do not understand their role as protectors.

"I don't want you to leave. I want you to dig". I LOVE Yellowstone. Hard to believe it's soon all over.

That sequence with Beth and Jamie in the truck is so awesome but intense, even after the gun went off at 2:05

I know RIP is more intimidating because of how he carries himself but Kayce can be just as evil when you push him to it! And when they team up, I feel bad for who they’re going after because it’s game over

One thing I wanna point out for city folk at 10:06 Rip grabs Walker's knife out of his hand and hands it back closed. This is a sign of disrespect because country manners say if someone hands you their knife you hand it back in the same way. Excellent detail that probably gets overlooked a lot!

The biggest detail about this show being unrealistic is those cowboys wearing their hats inside. As a native born Montanan, and the descendant of cowpokes and ranchers, I was raised with this rule: no hats on inside any establishment, and no boots or hats on in the house.

I was raised on an Aussie farm. We ran beef cattle, mostly Hereford steers. Same Kinda beast you run in the US. Ours were fenced, but pure grass fed, essentially free range. Increadibly that was normal practice in OZ until recently. So, the first thing that stood out was THE FENCING! Absolutely ludicrous, I literally laughed out loud. Wouldn’t contain anything heavier than a field mouse. Why didn’t they just ask a farmer for advice? Pure Hollywood nonsense. And yea in OZ it’s considered impolite to wear a hat indoors. And God forbid if one ends up on a bed. Hats are not fashion items on a working farm, they are simply part of the equipment.
