Absolutely, I listened to Ennio Morricone's score for three years before even watching The Untouchables! Not because I didn't care about seeing this movie. Part of me couldn't wait! But I wanted to just enjoy Morricone's magnificent work for myself a little longer before taking that next step.

That was the movie that convinced me that he could act. Before that, I just thought he was a popcorn actor. Just put him in a good movie, with a good script and he can't screw it up. However, his performance in a Perfect World really surprised me. Also the fact that he was playing a someone who was not an all around good guy.

Thank you Kevin for sharing your perspectives on working with some of the best character actors known to many I enjoyed your role as Billy Chapel in For Love of The Game. I saw this movie totally by accident on a United Airlines DC 10 direct flight from IRD in Chago to Honolulu in Sept. Of 2000. Our world had not yet gone through some of the crazy iterations of changing values we now have. As a nonathletic person, your role gave me a deep appreciation for the pitcher’s important role. But the beauty of your personal role was how you had recollections of your many opponents who once were your teammates in a career. As a now-retired Crane Operator, I have pitched a no-hitter at the friendly confines myself. After a couple of years, I ran a larger crawler Crane which was stationed nearly on home plate at Wrigley Field. By this time I was traded (employed) by another contractor. It soon became apparent that I had to level my playing field to allow my Crane to safely operate. Thanks for your insights and respectful commentaries. All The Best, Kevin from Eggy!

Not always the case. A lot of times, box office has been too kind to too shitty movies. And sometimes it was reverse. Waterworld should have earned much more.
