HORIZON is a wonderful movie! The audience has to pay attention to multiple “stories” as they interchange and progress through the movie. Thanks to Kevin and all who persevered and sacrificed for this production. It will be valued through movie history!
I as a re-enactor in Payson Az, I love history of the Old West especially Az. As our Group The Territorial Troupers went dressed in period correct clothes went to see Mr Costner’s movie, we enjoyed it, good to see Native American portrayed in movie gave realism. Thank you Mr Costner and cast-Kid Yuma
Lots of hate on this movie, but Chapter 1 is a masterpiece! It would be awful if Chapters 3 & 4 didn't come to the big screen. Such a tremendous movie. I enjoyed every frame of this wonderful film. Thank you, Kevin... so far, it's marvelous!!!
Horizon when completely finished,in time will be as valued as 2001 Space Oddessy. Kevin and all keep pressing on untill all is complete.Thank you forever.
Kevin Costner è un uomo straordinario. Del suo lavoro e talento ne fa uno strumento per migliorare il mondo. La, storia ci insegna e lui sta rivisitando la storia dell'America con delle narrazioni attualissime. ❤❤❤❤❤
Appreciated the discussion on the different languages - easy to see native people as if they were some sort of monolith but Quechua to Tlingit is a really big jump, as one might expect given the distances.
Ki Ora from Aotearoa NZ..There is a deep universal meaning in this beautifully crafted film...We here in Aotearoa have just had our first Movie made totally in Te reo Maori with English subtitles...time for the same for an Indigenous movie in the USA...ka kete ano
@@paualadyproductions651 She:kon and Nia:wen (Greetings and Thank you in Mohawk) Ki Ora, for watching and for your support! I appreciate your comment and am sending you well wishes to all of the Indigenous brothers and sisters in New Zealand.
Just read a Native review before watching this. Sounds like a big miss for the film storytelling is a glimpse of the Apache life and perspective before the settlers came. And then seeing their own repsine of what to do with these strangers coming Hoping to see this film when available on home viewing.
More indigenous stories told by indigenous people. Because when KC makes a movie it’s gotta include settlers. Show me a movie or stories I have never seen. Show me one that takes place before 1491. I am so tired of this same story being told. Watch Reservation dogs. It’s a happy and true tale of modern indigenous peoples.
How can you live in America and not know the word "Tatanka," which is Lakota for buffalo. Anyone who saw Dances With Wolves would have learned that. Show the man some respect and learn to pronounce your guests names correctly. It's not Tantaka or Tanka, smh. You put people in the awkward position of having to correct you. It's one of the most important parts of your job as an interviewer. If you make a mistake or stumble, apologize and take two seconds to say it again.
