I was at the game, and my lord was it lit in the garden. I'm so glad that this was first basketball game, couldn't have asked for a better experience :D
Kevin Durant is the easily the most unguardable player in the leauge. Dude was clutch asf tonight. Westbrook almost had a costly turnover towards the end of the 4th quarter but he had a good game for the most part.
this Knicks team is much improved better than last year man they really have a shot of making the playoffs if Melo is healthy coming from a BULLS fan #Respect
+StarMelo Anthony this shows that without melo, they can compete against the elite teams.. but we could've had this W .. we had that 11 point lead early in the 4th.. but OKC shows adversity that they can come back from any deficit.. KD and westbrook leading the way
+Zie Money is that really an excuse? The Thunder should've blown them out man, there's no way this should've been this close. The Thunder don't play championship level defense
Knicks did a good job without Melo, it's not an easy task to take a strong OKC to OT with the best scorer in the world dropping a 40 point double double.
honestly.. this game was just more of a reel in for KD... he already sees KP is a beast.. now he sees that this team almost beat them without melo, he must be thinking damn imagine me melo and kp on that squad. haha i really think d fish and phil can bring him to new york
***** I'm just playing with that comparison, no chance he really goes to Brooklyn but outside of KP the Knicks don't have much. Melo is aging and adding KD forces either KP or Melo to the bench since KP is too skinny to consistently deal with big centers each game. KP is also realistically at least 3 years from being a consistent force on a game to game basis. IMO there's too many variables with going to NYC even though it would be nice to have another team in the east have a real chance of going to the finals and not just have to assume its the Cavs each year. I don't think Washington has a chance of getting him. John Wall is too inconsistent and Beal is way too injury prone. It would be cool seeing him in NYC but IMO I seem him going with a 1+1 in OKC to go into free agency with Russ in 2017 or signing with the Lakers. LA seems to make more sense to me since players want to play in LA (and NY but LA seems to be more of the favourite in terms of place to live) and they have the track record of building contenders and winng championships. Plus they have enough cap to sign KD and one other guy and then they have 3 young guys they can keep or trade and possibly a top 3 pick to pair with KD or an opportunity to trade it for a star. If OKC gets bounced early or just badly in the playoffs I don't think he will stay in OKC though since this team is as good as it will get for them, so if the Warriors and/or Spurs beat them KD (and next year Russ) might just agree that this team is as could as it can get and its still not good enough so they move on to an organisation that can build a contender.
I'm sure people will disagree but I think he's one of the most clutch players to step foot on a court its not even all his game winners its the ability to come back and make plays to get back in it wow...
+GodMelo Anthony you guys though well and porzingis can play sf, pf and c know thats impressive pluss is it me or look at these stats antohney davis as a rookie: 13.2 pionts 8.2 rebounds 2.8 blocks Porzingis: 14 points 7.8 rebounds 2.3 blocks so Porzingis is going to be a future MVP confirmed
+Slightly Biased Kevin Durant Fan you better than adams if he didn't comeback early lopez and porzingis would of destroyed you guys in the post sorry but its kinda factz Im not a knicks fan tho Im a bulls fan but I like steven adams and the knicks so GG thunder
TheBucketMan Johnson Yeah he can, dude averaged 32 in his MVP season, and I wouldn't be surpised if in 2015 with no injuries he made 1 more three, or one more 2 and an extra free throw
i mean , im not saying KD might not come to NY this summer, but hey, anything is possible.. NY is on his mind.. hey maybe KP can lure him .. who knows?
+Chef Curry #3God well KD dropped 50 on draymond and he had 30 points In the first half last years game before rolling his ankle he is known to torch gsw
Is it just me or should they trade melo. No offense to melo he is a great player and in some people's eyes a superstar, but he is an old scar on a young team, and by team I mean porzingis. Let melo go and maybe get a veteran or 2 and help Porzingis grow. However maybe Melo is the mentor Kristap needed and is actually BEEN guiding him the entire time, I don't know.
