He proved himself and made up for the bad decision to sign with the team that beat you in 7 in the Conference Finals. 4 years ago we were saying “weakest move made by a superstar to sign with the team that beat him”. But now we can say “one of the biggest heart filled moves made by an NBA player”. He knew the risk, But he still got out there, played 13 minutes and scored 11 points. Ripped his Achilles, and was out for an entire year. He knew the risk, he knew he would leave the team after that year, so he was going out to get that three peat for his legacy, and most of all his brothers. I think the focus of the 2019 finals shouldn’t be the win by Toronto, the focus should be the heart of Kevin Durant.
