skylinez sad it’s the media way of discrediting a player who they don’t like and kd happens to be one ,Just an observation was this a topic on the media ?
@@Coffeechill012 under pressure for what? back to back rings and back to back MVPs and he's under pressure? If anything I'd Curry is the one under pressure to perform in the finals because he has 3 rings and no finals MVP
Now THIS is how you give back to your community! With something tangible that can benefit the inhabitants and push the landscape forward in a positive direction. Salute to Kevin and all who remember their humble beginnings. - J. Stokes
This is the news I wanna hear about KD. I could care less about where he’s playing next season. Happy for him for making an impact outside of entertainment
Oh no I'm crying right now😭😭😭great video, this is very inspiring he really help to people/kids.And he is a good guy, keep it man i will always support you😘❤😘ESPN please more video like this...i love you Kevin Durant❤❤❤
Ive always been a fan of KD since his freshman year at Texas. $10 million of his own money NICE Lebron got so much attention for a school that was publicly funded basically a shrine for himself and he only put up $ 2 million not taking anything away from Lebron but this should have gotten a lot more attention
Let's just celebrate how each is helping their own communities it doesn't matter how as long as the kids are being helped honestly I wish we could see more stories like this it'd change people's view on why they want the most money
He is one of 3 players I would break bread with the other 2 D Wade and Tim Duncan. I hope he goes to Houston or New Orleans and shows the doubters how important he is.
@@platypusoj7321 yeah and? That doesn't change anything about what I said. The post videos about his free agency and still found the time to constantly ask him about his free agency. So revert to my previous comment.
this is a great piece love it. seems sincere good for KD i hope America figures out the crime problem in communities like that. ty for not making it political or commercial keep it up
Wassup Kevin Durant idk if you will see this but I wanna tell you that I like everything you do for others and that you push me to keep going and working hard in my game n hopeful get far with it. Ik I’m not the tallest or even close but that’s okay.
This is an awesome piece, about an awesome guy, why is it that Broussard, Sharpe and the rest of the ESPN crew not talking about THIS, and ETHAN STRAUSS, you got your hat and your coat brought to you when you lied on this GREAT man with a GREAT 💓
@@inmy7eins he claimed he opened a school that the Akron taxpayers paid for. If he was really about opening a school for at risk youth and fit the bill for the entire peoject, he'd open a private school strictly for at risk youth.
I just left the most out of pocket comments to kd on his page, but what you do off the court makes you an MVP in life. I respect you as a man KD I just wish you had a true WARRIOR MANTALITY. STAY WITH YOUR BROTHERS AND FIGHT YOUR WAY BACK TO THE TOP. May god be with you.
This is a lie..In America, white people & black people are divided by RACE! This has always been the case and always will be as long as white people are in charge.
@@darrelljohnson2499 “It’s not race, it’s class!” is an argument that says that what seems to be caused by race or racism is in fact mainly being caused by class, by being rich, poor or middle-class. This argument appeals to: Left-wing White Americans - also known as white liberals. They experience classism way more than racism and think being colour-blind is a good thing. So they like this argument. It also allows them to avoid facing up to their own racism and unjust position in society. Marxists - who like to blame class. Europeans - who live in countries that are almost completely white, where the effects of class are far easier to see than those of race. It does not appeal to: Right-wing White Americans - who generally oppose raising taxes and changing society. If the ills of blacks and Latinos can be blamed on race, on something inborn (or even cultural), there is no need to raise taxes or change society. Better yet, if the ills of society, like poverty, drugs, crime and unemployment, can be blamed on blacks and Latinos, there is no reason to do anything serious about them either! rich whites - who use race to divide the working class in America, getting poor whites and even middle-class ones to vote against their class interests. poor whites - who have largely been persuaded by rich whites to blame blacks and Latinos, not rich whites, for the ills of society. skinheads and white nationalists - who like to blame race. middle-class blacks - who see that while education and money make life easier, they do not make white racism go away. poor blacks - who tend to blame white racism for their ills, but, like rich and middle-class whites, are not well-positioned to tell the difference between the effects of race and class. Notice that while some whites blame race (how black people are born), blacks blame white racism (what white people do). Big difference. The black middle-class and poor whites are, arguably, in the best position to tell the difference between race and class and how they affect people. For everyone else race and class line up in the same direction so it is hard to tell. In America class does matter but race generally matters more. For example, poor whites live longer and read better than middle-class blacks. When I lived in Queens in New York City during the crack epidemic, blacks made better money than whites on average yet their neighbourhoods were on the whole far more violent. None of this you would expect from the white liberal view of America. White American thinking about the nature of society and power has its roots in Europe, so it is easier for them to think in terms of class. But they do not live in an ordinary European class-based society. They live in a race-based one with roots in colonialism. On top of that, most of what they think they know about race are self-serving lies.
Before the move to golden state he had the title nicest guy in the NBA then the media changed the narrative this just proves he still is gone on him I'll always be a KD fan no Matter where he goes
This is just incredible. Some of you Mf'ers out there need to open your eyes and get past the hate you have on this man...clearly having no accomplishments of your own. Dont you realize that this will SAVE some people in his community?! He cares and he is doing everything he can to leave his imprint on this world. That will never be forgotten, regardless of his basketball career and what you think of him. Respect!!
DURANTULA IS A KILLA. HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA. FK WHAT U HEARD LET YOUR 👀 MAKE YOUR DECSION. AND MOMMA DURANT YOU RAISED A GROUNDED YOUNG MAN💯 GOD BLESS YOU.. KILLA HOPE YOU GET BETTER SOON ..CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU BACK ON THE HARDWOOD..💯💯💯
10 million dollars? Insane! That's absolutely incredible, what a man. I don't even have money within speaking range of that. But it makes me want to work hard, and help the people who are less fortunate than us. I hope people see this and get the same feeling. We can all change the world, and it starts with icons. Thank you Kevin, I feel a whole new way.
The last black i’m obsessed of watching & following was Michael Jackson since he died already..,. God mercy him, now i’m crazy about Kevin Durant :) he is such a nice person even i don’t know personally but i can feel it! His Mom brought him really well... thank you Mom! In spite of being a gifted NBA superstar he’s very humble... his being a soft-spoken misunderstood by his haters, they don’t know even he’s not trying to be classy but he got class and we love him for that! Sorry bashers :D he is not your “bad boy’ kindda fella just like your self-proclaimed king :) peace on Earth! Long live KD!
Milan yup I do. That was part of the point. I just thought it was a little ironic because of his lack of commitment. Obviously he is within his rights to do what he wants. I am not hating on him. Just struck me as pretty damn funny given the narrative surrounding him and the dubs.
