Can we please have KD in this format after every few games please? There is nothing more fascinating to us Nets fans than to listen to our captain give his take on the games, the players etc. This was such an amazing podcast.
I want to say I really love this podcast. It's amazing to be able to watch your favorite player having a chill talk, giving his own perspective about on and off court things without having to worry about his words getting twisted or something. Just really great stuff, thank you for that.
They actually did when he was on the Thunder. People forget Lebron and KD were loved by most the fans and media until they left the teams that drafted them.
I've been watching basketball for 40+ years. I never enjoyed a players game the way I do KD's. The Reaper is next level. ....and I'm a Knicks fan.....I couldnt stand the Nets since they moved to BK.....and now I'm rooting for them. I actually feel guilty. Genuine guilt......But I'm rocking with The Reaper. How can you not root for that brother....As a ball player and as a person.
KD always makes a lot of sense to me, very thoughtful and articulate. The media creates drama to push their 3 days news cycle. They all sound dumb and tiring.
Draymond and KD really elevated the podcast game into a modern sports experience. Seeing players perspectives and insights really make the sport more authentic and feasible.
kd always a real one. wish the nba media would show stuff like his explanation here or his entire interview instead of plastering that one quote of him everywhere
It's a shame Cam Thomas is buried in a lineup with so much talent! I really want to see the Nets develop him to the point he can start like other young talent in the league. He's not afraid of the taking shots or the spotlight. I feel he has a killer instinct as well! Hate to lose Cam to another team
I can really appreciate the actual real life basketball talk on this podcast, talking about sets, actual moves, players from Yuta to Jaylin Williams. True basketball fans can really appreciate this kind of content, we neeed more! Giving y’all the flowers now🙏🏽
Don't listen to what the media says, take the time to research the info yourself. When did he throw someone under the bus? I only hear him compliment players
@@blicleak1101 YOU NEED TO LISTEN AT HIM AND STOP LISTEN THE MEDIA BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS TELL LIES ON KD. HE A REAL ONE BYT YOU CAN'T SEE IT BECAUSE YOU HATE HIM FOR KNOW REASON
idk who this Gonzalez guy is, but man is he plugged in! all on the plane with the nets and staff, watching basketball at the highest level up close and personal. Prolly dining some of the best dinners, and being connected to KD which probably gives him a decent selection of beautiful women. dude is blessed forsure
I can't stand people who continue using the narrative that KD isn't a leader and can't carry a team. He may not be as noticeable like draymond, lebron, or CP3 but by him just being on the court and playing, he makes his teammates jobs so much easier. He's 34 and playing out his mind, playing 35 min plus a game, going all out on defense, and makes sure he gets the offense rolling and not just his game. give credit where credit is due, when it's all said and done, Kevin Durant will be in arguments for the greatest basketball player
@4:00 min mark that pick on you ball screens. That's what keeps happening to Joe Harris. He's turning into a CONE . Hate to admit it but we gotta fix that with post presence.😒
This was a good wholesome conversation. The only critique is the need for contextual editing & flashbacks WRT some of these references & topics. I’m sure that this show will eventually get there. Until then, I’m enjoying the content regardless.
How does millions of views and plays over the last 2 years for 4 new projects, a grammy and the fact that radio plays him and talks about him in the largest radio media market in the country equal to irrelevant? How is it even not mainstream! Because He won't listen to it or whatever... yo it was just a demonstration in stupidity to say nas isn't relevant. Especially when the definition of relevant, quoted from Websters dictionary is: "appropriate to the current time, period, or circumstances; of contemporary interest."? Plus- aint nobody asked that man how he felt about the record.😁 It's that type of unnecessary talk and behavior that puts distance between hip hop culture in particular and black youth and elders at large. I wish would've just said what he wanted to say: "Nas album came out. It knocked our project off the number 1 spot and Nas' music isn't my cup of tea personally. Im hatin. Im tight." Say Dat young homie,, don't be a clown!🤣
I'm not the biggest Kevin fan but I love the way he expressed himself in this interview. He can't always articulate exactly what he wants to say so it's good to see him get a chance to explain his pov and get things off his chest.
@@chiggsytube I guess I spent so much time not liking him, that I still have a little reserve. Hit yes. He's like poetry on the floor. I completely agree.
This is part of why the nba is not as exciting. Too much love for the opponents. We know those players are good. Just seems like players are chasing to be likes by other players.
Mann KD just wanna ball and enjoy life you can tell. He been a fan and still a fan. It’s crazy how the media be effecting these players way too much but thats just how the game go.
I was really hoping that Kevin would want to come back to OKC when he requested a trade this offseason. They have the cap space, no drama, a deep roster, and assets to swap. Mentor the guys this year, and next year - take over the world.
We gon continue to be patient. Us as Nets fans we see you guys and just want the best for you guys and us. We deadass have faith in our team and know we could reach that goal. So we'e gonna continue to support, through the ups and down!
