The fact that Durant is one of the few NBA to successfully come back from a Achilles injury should be an inspiration to many future players dealing with the same injury. The Achilles injury has plagued and ended many NBA careers.
I always appreciate these candid conversations with KD and Eddie Gonzalez. Legacy media has become this swamp for critiques, hot takes, wokeness, bias, slander, narratives and agendas...that you can CHOOSE to forget that it's all really about BASKETBALL, the fans and the players at the end of the day. All of this other politics have really given the game and the media a negative light. Great to have these platforms so that we can get to see players being candid and open. Have a great opening game KD and BECOME the leader that the Nets need this year. #DaSlimReaper7 #BKNets
Dope interview... I wish I could see KD, Giannis, Kuwahi, Curry, and LeBron sit around and talk about what it is to be a champion and talk about some stories us the fans don't know about them.
KD is technically in year 16 but this will be his 15th season playing. Hopefully KD can have one of those seasons for the ages to solidify his legacy in the minds of all doubters. MVP, scoring title, Title and FMVP will put him in the top 10. I would put him at 8 at that point.
@@letstalkbasketball727 I can't put him into the top 10 yet. Who in the top 10 does he have a better resume than at this point. My top 10 is Jordan, James, Abdul-Jabbar, Johnson, Bryant, Duncan, O'Neal, Bird, Curry, Olajuwon. If Durant were to achieve what I described, I would have him overtake Bird and Olajuwon would be out.
Im French and Wembanyama’s Dad is a 6´6 former track and field athlete and his mom is 6´3 and she is a former basketball player and now a basketball coach. Victor is from a small city near Paris.
KD, you're an incredible talent and you seem to compartmentalize and shut out the noise when you're displaying your craft. I'm rooting for you and the Nets to meet up with the Warriors in the Finals in a winner's take all! Good Luck on having a great Season!
I'm so excited to see KD as a coach, he's going to be even greater as a coach than he is as a player. I can see it in the way he talks about the game and how we all know his work ethic can translate
Glad to see KD happy and sounding strong. He was my favorite player before he switched to GS. GOod luck champ, the Bucks will be in your way though the rest of your career 😳🦌.
Let's get it brodiesss 🐐👌🏽🔥 One of the best podcast ! KD eddie etc great accomplishment on boardroom 👌🏽 KD have a great season may God keep you healthy for a MVP season with Kaï 🤲 and hopefully with a great ending season 🏆 ( big support from France bro )
Been #teamdurant since Texas. Looking forward to seeing the easy money sniper in Charlotte in two weeks. Driving 4 1/2 hours from NW Atlanta to see him in live action again.
Night and day in comparison between KD and LeBron in interviews or pod cast. I can listen to KD all day because he’s so good on court but yet so humble. He doesn’t pound his chest saying that he’s the goat!
KD is much more relatable in this type of interview. Seems more comfortable with “regular people” than the fake phony media types. I respect that. Good look.
KD chill af, the hate he gets is old at this point. If we talk career its a blemish going to GS, but he's thorough for sure. All time athlete, no doubt. Appreciate his greatness while he's still playing.
Kd saying that 7'4 dude was built in a lab and nah fr where he come from it was like that Adam Sandler movie and now the entire NBA has eyes on the cat actually wild kd hope you put him in his place when he tries you
Easy money sniper. Keep your consistent world class service to the game. All the best year sixteen. Stay healthy. Hoping for a great team effort from everyone at Brooklyn
Eddie, consider writing a mid-career biography about KD. A great move to connect with the fans now and volume 2 could be a great indepth legacy of one of the best of the best...
Love this video. KD is so down to earth . All you want to do is play basketball and win. You are so dope KD and funny too. I looooove you so much and I always pray for you and your family.❤🖤😘💯You are so handsome too you drive me crazy!!!
Kevin has always spoken like this, only casuals don't know this. People get caught up on the Twitter stuff and going to GS. Love listening to him talk hoops. Kobe was the only other player that talked hoops with such passion like Kevin does.
Dang Kev, you gotta give it another listen with the lyrics. Dude is really talking about being a boss, making boss moves and turning his illegal business endeavors into something above ground and legitimate. Is it lyrical wordplay, nah. But it's true to him and his story.
@@hobo9945 when it’s your teammates and best friend it’s different bro. Y’all Warriors fans act like he crucified either player when all he said is he hasn’t seen it in his locker rooms
KD is the one who popularized it for these kids growing up watching him and took what Dirk did to a new level. Yes Dirk has played an influential role in history but when it comes to who influenced this new generation specifically, KD is that guy.
@@chemfunsies9970 Dirk is the one who made it so that coaches allowed the tall kids to play that way. Yeah KD was influential, but without Dirk, KDs coaches probably would have forced him to play power forward or center.
@@jourdansarpy4935 KD would literally lie to his coaches about his height just so they don't put him into center immediately. I think he wanted it more than the coaches being open to it because of Dirk.
@@asonga5410 I’m not going to take away the fact that KD was one of the early pioneers of skilled big men, but saying that he is the one who popularized it for kids is ignoring the fact that Dirk won finals MVP before KD ever made it to the finals. You’re forgetting about an entire generation of dudes including KD that had their lanes given to them because of guys like Dirk. And don’t forget Hedo Turkoglu. If you’re talking about casual fans then yeah, KD made it popular, but fans who have been fans of basketball since before 2010 are the dudes getting drafted now.
Lebron has always been the chosen one, but KD feels like one of us basketball lovers from all around the world who can actually fulfill their dreams and was able to do so
Really wanna hear KD on the transformation of Sharpe. The kid looks in crazy shape and his game is reflecting it. Just wanna hear from someone close to him how dedicated he is cause he looks 30-40 pounds leaner it’s crazy
