Nice top ten. May I ask, why did you change your name to swish scope?

Original name was a silly one I came up with back in high school. I wanted to change it a LONG time ago, but it had already become a household name of sorts. Recently got contacted by the NBA media broadcasting team for their "Playmakers" program and I figured whether or not I was going to represent that brand I had to change it to something more professional sooner or later because some of these groups that want to work with me are taking my productions more seriously that I thought they would. The name "Swish Scope" derives from my efforts into presenting the most factually accurate highlights on my productions (scoping for highlights and presenting them with the accuracy of a swish), even though I do make a mistake here and there. The reason I even started this channel was because I was sick of seeing Top 10s from people who didn't even know or research a players' top highlights, so my whole thing has been to be as accurate as possible and to surprise people with highlights they never knew about, it's easier for me because I've avidly followed the NBA since 96 and before RU-vid entered this new decade where the uploads blew up and became overwhelming, I went through just about most NBA clips that was on this site as a hobby. Nowadays, when I am about to make a video I spend anywhere from 2-6 hours (depends on how memorable a player's 10 best highlights are which correlates with footage availability and quality) researching every highlight (dunks for example) by a player and then scoping every corner of the internet to find the footage and audio at the best quality possible. This is a reason why my production rate is so slow since I do have a life outside RU-vid as well lmao.

What are your thoughts on kd leaving?

TLDR; Handled it well, but choice of team was the worst, isn't challenging himself to a valuable championship of historic or even personal relevance, but at least the scumbag OKC owners don't get get any closer to a championship. Long version; I thought he should've joined anyone but the Cavs and Dubs. I was originally against James' Heat thing too because Wade was someone he should've been competing against (I didn't ever want to see Wade, Durant, Bryant, LeBron and Melo on the same NBA team in their primes) but still he was part of an off-season rebuild with Wade and Bosh, he didn't piggyback a certified championship roster; not to mention he recently cemented his legacy by finally having a season where he beat everybody including Wade to a championship. KD's on the other hand is on a whole new level far, far and away at its worst. He handled the process better but his choice pissed me off, there was animosity between OKC and the Dubs (the calls, Draymond kicking his teammate in the nuts, the scrutiny Westbrook used to face about Curry being the better PG, the Dubs constantly gloating in their faces during the game, Curry having his best ever regular season game against them with a soul-crushing half-court buzzer beater) and now its like all that meant nothing to him. That plus they are a championship team without him, just got the best regular season record in NBA history at 73-9 AND he left a good team that always had his back, a city that worshiped him and a teammate who's every bit the star player he is. They were 1 win away three times from making the finals and had a good chance at beating the Cavs too, they were a legit contender. He could've went anywhere but the Cavs and Dubs and it'd be mostly well-received globally (he'd have a great shot at the chip in Toronto or San Antonio too). This would be like Jordan joining the Pistons after the 89 playoffs despite all the shit they put him through, Payton joining the Bulls after 96 playoffs despite all that talking and LeBron joining the Celtics after 2010 playoffs despite how many times they put his efforts to waste. But there is one positive thing that comes out of this, and no offense to OKC fans, they're some of the best fans the league has to offer but this is directed at the owners of OKC: after the bullshit they pulled on the Seattle Supersonics fanbase, they don't deserve to celebrate a championship nor do they deserve Durant. The OKC fans in general should be grateful that they even experienced the greatness of Durant for 8 years, a player they never suffered and paid the price to receive. Meanwhile Seattle became the doormat for many teams for many years pre-Payton and post-Payton even with Ray Allen, they didn't make noise and the fans suffered until they finally got Durant and only got to see him for one season. OKC fans should be grateful they still have Westbrook (and his trade value) whom Seattle didn't even get to experience for ONE season. OKC fans should be grateful they still have great pieces on their team. Hell OKC fans should be happy they even have a team!

@Brandon Menifee yea I guess so kd was very extreme case though, your right about how it changed today's culture now players just changing teams they dont care why should they these owners are looking out for their own interest players need to do what is in their best interest as well although loyalty is a beutiful thing
