KG technically may not be the best PF to grace the NBA (Tim Duncan for the win) but what makes him so great is his love for the game.Can you see such emotion from any other player? I don't think so. This has to be one of the best off-court moments in theNBA ever.
I can say personally being from Minnesota playing h.s basketball having met him several times, KG is the most down to earth person in the world! He is a real Man who cares about youth and how young people mature and a leader by example. He is always that emotional and excited about the game and life which is rare especially for celebs. KG deserves his ring and my hat off to him and the rest of the team, and good look for shoutin MN "Da Sota" first!!we love u KG!!!!!!!

I remember watching it live.. I was rooting for the lakers and was pissed when they lost but then i thought about everything Garnett went through with crappy management at minnesota i was moved.. this was epic and it brought a tear down my eye... ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!
What a class act in Bill Russell. Russell told KG before the playoffs he'd win a ring in Boston, and if for some reason he didn't, Russell would give KG one of his (Russel's). KG goes and wins and hugs Russell and says, "I hope we made you proud," and Russell says, "You did." ever read the article "The Day Cool Died" in Sports Illustrated last year? Cool Died when KG yelled "anything is possible!!!!" like it was some amazing great feat he acomplishes but his team was stacked and had a pretty good chance of winning it all anyways.....if a guy with no legs climbed Mt. Everest i would say he has full right to yell "anything is possible!!!" but the celtics are on of 30 teams in the NBA so they are gunna win a championship sometime it wasn't a great feat
She lost so much respect as a reporter from me after she continued asking him questions after the "Anything is possible!" shout. As a sports reporter, that is the kind of stuff that is epic. Save the questions for the post game press conference.
dam KG wasnt suppose to say anything is possible, he was suppose to say addidas quote "impossible is nothing" i herd on the radio that addidas got pissed that he said the line wrong. not sure if thats true though, just a rumor or sum bs maybe.
@FOR3FOWTY the different is that KG, Ray were traded to the Cs and the HEAT are 3 friends which wanted to play together. KG is a very loyal player and he didn't wanted to leave sota but it was his only chance to win a ring, not like fucking james.
