@@dwyanewade8645like the rest Always showing up .. stop using lame excuse .. there are more among these players who haven't been public for the longest time, yet mike still shuts every one up..and stop giving your opinion against someone who was really present like you know better than KG😂
@@marimari9791 You sound super negative my guy. My comment wasn't meant to be a bad thing. I just mean MJ is a private guy. Everyone knows that. People want to see him. The other players you speak of not as much. So chill dude. You're embarrassing yourself out here.
@@dwyanewade8645 read the first post and what you commented ..your negating what he said by watering down MJ's Goat statusm.come on now, stop calling out someone negative when you're the kid who needs to say something negative about a factual statement. You knew what you meant ..You're embarrassing yourself even more 🤣
And what’s unfortunate is Steph also from Ohio I believe and didn’t get the same amount of applause LBJ did. If I was there I’d give everyone the same amount of praise. You could tell it was relevancy applauding. But MJ still the goat
@@DonSki11nd lebron got eliminated from the finals by a german impersonating jesus. Not only that but got held to 18 ppg in an nba finals 😂 Who loses with dwade and chris bosh as your teammates? 😂
@@PercAngle3 Love goat MJ. but who leads all players on both teams in pts, rbs, assist, steals and blocks vs a 73 win team and come back from 3-1? "Narratives, anyway gotta appreciate the greats cause we never saw Goat MJ win a playoff series without pippen..
@@02nupeMj's teammates made EIGHT all star appearances..... Lebron's teammates made 118 all star appearances..... Stop it.... If you can't respect the greatness of Mj then just stfu...🤔🇹🇹
"Jordan's presence made it feel like he still occupied the throne." That's because he is! He's a living legend. No one has managed to dethrone him yet!
Jordan always said his game did all his talking. It's pretty awesome to know his game is still doing all the talking almost 25 years after his retirement from the Bulls, where he went out on top in typical MJ fashion. The best player I've ever seen!
During my college days in the philippines way back in the 90's bulls championship our teacher would cancel our classes just to allow us to watch the games
@Kevin Joe Fo Every champion had their down moments. Everyone. Not just on basketball. OP wasn’t even shading anyone but merely mentioning a memory from their youth and there you go salty af.
It is that feeling everyone has when they are around Michael Jordan. They sense that he has an aura surrounding himself, and the world stays still whenever he is present in the room.
@@andyirons7162 maybe not Madonna… but more like Jackson, Prince, Ali and MJ. Madonna was a harlot then and one now. Not even in the same book or library
True story we brought grandma some gucci tennis shoes. She said are these them Jordan's?... no mom them gucci. She said take them back i want the MJ's 🤣🤣🤣 and yes she meant that. She rocking the Jordan's.
I feel you my grandmother love mj. Everytime he would have the ball she would go shoot it boy!!!!!!!!!! I heard that all game r.i p.my sweet grandmother. Miss and love you beyond words.
He is number 1 on the list because he is really the number 1 and greatest player of all time. Jordan really changed the basketball game and how it should be played. No one can replace him in coming 100 years.
his fluidity while dunking still looks as if he is actually flying. I mean it looked so natural that we felt like any human can do it. It must be the shoes right? He made it look easy and inspired us all to play a game we so loved. Like we seriously thought wearing his shoes would allow us to play well. Not to be blasphemous but it is like our expectations when we pray. We just feel good. We felt awesome wearing what the GOAT wore every night. People were literlly killing for that feel in those shoes. The nostalgia is unreal.
Took Kobe’s death for me to realize how much he loved Kobe, the one player who he said “stole his moves”. That’s why MJ can’t coach. These kids are dumb now and Kobe was the only one who would’ve listened under MJ. Kobe was the only player he really fkd with and, after his speech @ the funeral, OMG I got it. Kobe would’ve been even worse (of a monster) had he worked specifically with him💯 The closest we had to MJ was Kobe and MJ feels the void. It’s not exciting now….💔👊🏿
Him showing up reminds me of that scene in Iron man when he wasn't planning on going to the event and at the last second he grabs his bvgari watch and shocks everyone by pulling up lol
I'm 72 year old grandmother who collected Michaels cards. This week I put them into an album and counted over 200 not including the graded ones. I've always thought that he was a great player and he proved me right. I say good luck to him as he forged ahead to a brighter future. My girlfriends thought that I was crazy to make such an investment in cards on one player. Today, I'm wearing a smile my prediction was right.
The people at large generally speak to MJ's offense. However, they rarely talk about how many times he made 1st Team All Defensive. How many guys do you see or have seen as of the last 25 yrs that will light you up & then shut you down on the other end. Case closed. Deuce 3 outta N.C. is the man
MJ's iconic reception (vacuuming all the attention in the building) sent Nick Wright into one of his most DESPERATE attempts to sabotage a clearly sincere, powerful exclamation of adoration for a player that was truly a paragon of excellence. Lookup his spasm of disgust over Mike's "Throne Celebration" on First Take🤣
Even LeBron be star struck because even he knows when the real King, the greatest to have ever played the game, walks among them that day. The only man ever to shut down Michael Jordan, by the power of his pen only was GM Jerry Krause (snake oil selling Jerry). Krause was focused on building for the Bull’s future, while MJ was about more championships while they still had the same battle tested proven squad to still make title runs. That squad remains intact, you looking at an easy 1-2 more championship titles. GM Krause cost the city of Chicago another possible 2-3 championships and contention with Boston for the city of most titles won.
You think he would miss the chance to let all his piers and the whole world know that he was the best? Think about when “The Last Dance” came out. Just as the majority or sports media figures started to place Lebron James at the top of the list for GOAT, here comes a documentary to remind everyone, who may have forgotten, who was really top dog. He was the 🐐 then and he’s the 🐐still to this day.
He's the reason why Nike is one of the biggest this day. And basketball got so big because of his talent and sponsorship that got heard around the world.
It would've been hilarious if MJ walked up to KG and trolled him like back in the day when he was a rookie and tried Mike. "What's up young fella, I heard you learned your lesson from that day"😂
The Alpha Dog shall never let his puppies go astray. It would be seen as arrogant and mean for that to be happening without him, knowing that he is still around. The man exudes finesse and class both on and off the court. We're here talking about the legendary MJ, folks! ❤🏀🎉
Look at how many people wanted to be around MJ... Especially in the back with Wade and Magic... In CLEVELAND HE GOT THE LOUDEST OVATION EVEN MORE THAN LeTRYHARD
He is. Without a doubt. The greatest. Player. That this game has ever seen. 🐐 I had to put a lot of periods so that y’all LeBron fans would know this debate is finished.
To be able to command full attention of every player in attendance and to get the loudest applause while in LBJ hometown of Cleveland, all i say is "What Debate?". The fans just showed everyone who they were there to see more than anyone else. Love him or hate him, he commands attention because of what he did to the game!!
The GOAT takes all their breaths away. Those players who disagree he destroyed. Which is why the think that way. Jealousy. Isiah, we got you on tape saying he's the best. You can't take it back, and Scottie, you too.
All these revisionists act like people didn't see what was going on back then. Or they act like people forgot and they have to feed you a load of bs to overwrite the old story. Bruh, we saw everything. There's no need to change anything.
In LBJ home town Cleveland, MJ got the biggest applause, was the latest player to be announce and his spot was in the center of the circle. Nothing to discuss further
That 75th anniversary was an eyesore. A lot of players didn't show up, many of the original 50 had passed away and the fans clearly had no idea who 90% of the list was or they didn't care. When they did the original 50th team the crowd was way more receptive and full of actual fans. It was embarrassing not hearing one applause for so many legends.
It’s cool to see him giving LeBron some admiration with the half hug. Those two have been compared against each other for the majority of LeBrons life, they both know there ain’t no comparison.
Jordan is the GOAT. And he is still occupying the throne. Everyone was gravitating towards Jordan as always. He destroyed a lot of players' dreams in that room. I'm pretty sure they still have nightmares. 😂😂
