Perfectly said. Nascar has created this fake drama, because they don't think the fans can live without its ridiculous playoff system. Anyone who can't live with some meaningless races, aren't really fans. I'd bet if they went back to the old system, winner of the most points during the season wins the championship, theyd be more popular

No one has said anything about the wreck between Austin and Denny, look back at the event, cry baby Denny came up the track as Austin is coming, not exactly a right hook, where’s Austin suppose to go, he’s going straight by this time, Denny takes his lane away.

Walk a mile in a person's shoes, that's the expression, but change it to "Drive a lap in that driver's seat" Nobody & I mean NOBODY does that differently than Austin did in that circumstance!.. The 'System' is broke not the drivers.. if the same scenario happened 10 or a 100 times the result will be the same with Any driver scrambling to make the "playoffs"

What Dillion did was still completely unprofessional, unsportsmanlike, and childish regardless if you recognize why he did it. You can blame NASCAR for their format too, but Dillion is the one who ultimately made the choice behind the wheel. "if the same scenario happened 10 or a 100 times the result will be the same with Any driver scrambling to make the "playoffs"" I doubt that "any driver" would wreck two competitors win like that, even someone else as far back in points as Dillon.

I agree with Kevin, the issue really should be wrecking Hamlin. But to muddy the waters even more is what logano did on pit road after the race. Spinning the tires of a wrecked car with people in front of him is bad. But to burn out with dillons family directly in front of his car is a completely separate issue. Not sure how that wouldn’t be worthy of a penalty or suspension.

everybody likes to use the Ryan Newman situation, but he didn't wreck Larson, so Larson still had a chance to finish. That actually takes way more skill then coming from 4 cars back, never lifting and get into the back of the driver who passed you fair, and straight up. Then proceed to hang a left and wipe out another driver. You Austin Dillon sir, do not deserve to be in that 3 car. You do not possess neither the skill, nor the pedigree.
