This is the narrative everytime he’s got submitted. Tony outlasted him and subbed him, RDA outlasted and subbed him, and Charles did as well. All three are crafty grapplers with excellent gas tanks (not too sure about Oliveira there though, he hasn’t needed to show it.)
Would have been interesting to see how Khabib would have dealt with a guy like Olives constantly attacking with submissions. Could have created better paths to get back to the feet rather walking the cage or trying to wrestle with him. Clearly that didn't work for anyone. Olives almost completely neutralized Kevin Lee's top game creating that "web". Kevin isn't Khabib but his top game and ground and pound is still good so seeing this makes you wonder.
@@myginger Islam slightly different from Khabib, patient and very methodical with his grappling transitions while Khabib is more forceful and mauling, he’ll man his through transitions to get a specific position he wants.

MMA maths doesn’t work, what makes jiu jitsu grapplers like Oliveira so dangerous is that they can suddenly lock up a submission out of nowhere, their always a threat.
