Kevin Nash, wrestling's six-time World Heavyweight Champion and twelve-time Tag Team Champion, is inviting YOU to become an insider in the most exclusive band of rebels in the Podcast sphere! Kevin and his crew grabbed the wrestling business by the sack in the 90s and never let go, making his Kliq the most powerful faction in the history of the business, both on camera and off. They spent countless hours together, riffing on the business, the lifestyle, and everything else under the sun, and this podcast is no exception. Kevin left wrestling and built a successful career as an actor and guest on dozens of talk shows. His opinionated nature has made him the most requested guest of shoot interviews and network shows for more than a decade. Now, Kevin and his frequent host Sean Oliver, bring you all that you loved about their shows in this weekly podcast. No guest or topic is off-limits. Are you sweeeeet enough.......to be the next member of the Kliq?

Kevin Nash was such a big player for the wrestling business. What him and Scott Hall did when they went to WCW is probably the single biggest moment in wrestling. It changed wrestling as we know it forever. It is what literally started the Monday Night Wars.

Very true... but one person that we often overlook in all of this... is Billionaire Ted Turner! If He wouldn't of been that passionate about Wrestling... and agreeing to dish out guaranteed contract... there's no Monday Night Wars @ all! You've got mid card guys making 1 million per year now it's crazy!! He's getting up there... and now that Vince sold... I hope they induct him in the Hall of Fame while he's alive!!

@@biggbluh Oh yeah Ted Turner does deserve credit but then it was shortly after that WCW got bought out.

@@biggbluh Who are talking about inducting into the Hall of Fame, Kevin Nash. I'm not sure Vince McMahon really counts there since he was the owner. But then again I don't know.

This is so true I was in a gas station on my way to Virginia today when I saw this Like cup holder to hold the Slim Jim’s in with a bust figurine of Macho Man Randy Savage! at the counter! It Instantly put a big smile on my face! It’s great to see after all these years Macho Man Randy Savage is still Slim Jim’s Guy!

I live in Kentucky and go to a Five Star gas station every night before work. They’ve got one there too! It holds the Slim Jims and it’s a bust of Randy Savage. I wanna get one for my house even though it would look very out of place lol I can’t help but think of those classic Slim Jim commercials with the Macho Man anytime I see it.

@@AshleySmith19912believe it or not- they’re like $200 .. they got different ones too- they have the purple one at my local gas station- you can find them cheaper, but they also get more expensive as well… I’m just gonna ask if I can have it .. and if I can’t- I’m SERIOUSLY considering ending up in a blurry af picture on my local PDs Facebook page 😂😂🤦🏽‍♂️ for real that’s how bad I want it!

@@briansantoro2311you know the workers probably take them home bc who would care if you don’t like wrestling .. and look at the people who usually work at gas stations- I’m just gonna ask if I can have it, but they sell them online.. probably just have to buy one

Macho Man Randy Savage was a phenomenal wrestler and even better on the promos. He was always in excellent condition too. I believe it was Mean Gene Okerland who said it in his WWF debut match that he didn't appear to have very much fat on his body. That his physique was very much about the muscle. And when Miss Elizabeth came along as his manager and eventually his wife that just elevated his game even further. He happens to be my all time favorite wrestler.

I was watching him in WCW from 96-00-ish during the Sting Vs NWO era and also the Wolfpack era, but it didnt do his career much justice and he was most known for his WWF career. I wasn't old enough to understand the storylines in his WWF prime, but I remember the SlimJim commercials. Lol (I was born in 88)

@@tonynorris1506 I get it. I got to watch his WrestleMania matches. His match against Ricky Steamboat that is considered one of the best matches ever. And the WrestleMania where they did tournament and Macho Man became WWF World Champion for the first time. Randy Savage still did a lot of good work in WCW but certainly his better days were in WWF. Just don't do his TNA stuff that was terrible.
@tonynorris1506
@tonynorris1506 11 месяцев назад
@@dionshare7103 that's awesome! And man, I legit forgot that he went to TNA! It was essentially WCW 2.0, although a lot of flew under the radar due to the Ruthless Aggression era in WWE. As much as I enjoyed "Sting Vs NWO", the NWO basically became a way to have famous ex-WWF talent on TV, but not have to dedicate storylines to them, as many huge ex WWF stars ONLY wrestled on "WCW- Saturday Night" (Curt Hennig, Jim Duggin,. eventually Savage, ect) It's INSANE that Bischoff said that WCW had like 300 wrestlers on the payroll, while maybe 40 were on TV! Randy's brother Lanny Poffo, was collecting 1m bucks per year under contract being when Randy went to WCW, he negotiated for his brother also, yet Lanny never wrestled once! They LEGIT had Ted Turners check book and it's crazy that he never questioned it... Either he was too rich to care, or the margins were so high that it made up for the 200 or so people that weren't on the active roster. AEW was doing the same thing, and a ton of ex WWE talent have taken the back burner after initial appearances/angles, and getting paid just to be at the company's disposal. Hopefully they don't have the same fate as WCW, Although over the last year or so, they have made their programming different enough to keep a solid fanbase, while WWE continues to downsize and have the same guys come out 5x or more per night. Sorry for rambling, When I hear about TNA, I think of AEW, and then I think back to the downfall of WCW.... lol
