I retired in 2022 thinking $300k would be enough, but with this sustained inflation that's no longer my reality. Each withdrawal has made it harder for my nest-egg to recover through compounding returns
I'm almost ready to retire, and having a financial advisor has been incredibly beneficial. Since I started investing later in life, I couldn't rely solely on compound interest from index funds. I've managed to earn more than some long-term investors. I'll be retiring with at least $4 million.
I generally avoid giving specific recommendations since everyone's situation is unique. However, having worked closely with Emily Ava Milligan for 8 years, I can attest to her great service. You might want to see if she meets your criteria
Cavuto, inflation is not a perception problem. It is a spending problem. You people who make your money in TV and on wall street are fine because your assets have gone up with inflation, but middle class and the poor have been killed.
@@craftiebrown Yes, I did. I took economics in high school and in college. More importantly I ran a small business for 37 years until the lunacy of 2020 put us out of business. In case you can't do math, Biden has taken the ridiculous spending of Trump's covid era and put it on steroids. That is why people can't afford homes, cars, food, energy, or anything else that isn't imported from China.
Neil is like all the rest of MSM personalities... "I'm going to ask questions to get the answers I want, and if I don't... I'll interrupt and ask the question a different way (or a different question altogether) to get the answer I want." Why bother asking any questions at all? Why bother having guests? Just write your op-ed and deliver a monologue.
Well, candy bars were 10 cents when I was young, there's been a few presidents since then. Trump put 8 trillion on the debt, didn't address the pandemic and supply chain issues, he didn't care we couldn't find food on the shelves, he gave corporations breaks, which caused inflation. Biden had to fix supply chains. We are producing more oil than any other country. We're now working on infrastructure, something Trump said he'd do and did NOT!Why do you call Drms communist, while praising Putin?
O'Leary is correct. Food, car insurance, house prices, rent, property taxes, etc very very high. If they need to lower spending, why spend more then $200 billion in overseas wars?
My health insurance just went up 12%. The electric rate went up almost 50% over the last year. Meanwhile, my Social Security COLA is 3.2% and pensions NEVER go up. Don’t tell me the economy is doing great.
@@gphx I thought about substituting for the cat food, the neighbor’s cat, but I can’t afford the California hunting license plus ammo plus license to buy ammo, which may require registering the hunting tools I’ve had for 50 years. Guests he knows he's going to disagree with and give a hard time to, he has a different smugness on his face versus guests he likes.
Most jobs, even many farm jobs, are created by entrepreneurs and investors, without whom America would still be in its pre-industrial stage. Biden has created, what, maybe two dozen staffer jobs while entrepreneurs (like Trump, O’Leary, Musk, etc) create millions! The tax base of America depends more on workers with jobs than on the investors.
Art Laffer who created the Laffer curve in economics said the first 3yrs of Trump's presidency was the greatest economic success ever and several economist have agreed
@@KAD95223 I want to say I saw that info about Laffer on Fox and a female wall street guru agreeing with Laffer. The Laffer curve is like a law of economics that shows the more government stays out of the way the more the economy will boom they all know this but they say government funding all these things is more important than a booming economy for us. Basically our quality of life is not as important as whatever there agenda is
Oleary had nothing of value to say anyway, another out of touch elite pulling the wool over your eyes. Wake the hell up. Not a single rich elite cares about you.
Not that much, but many things have. I buy the little 2lb. bags of dried beans - they have gone for $1 to $2.50 in less than two years. $7 for an itty bitty loaf of cinnamon bread? Going to the supermarket is like going hunting, but I'm the one being hunted. Wally World is trading on Mr. Walton's name, they are no longer the place to buy food.
Making the rich pay more taxes to supply money for social security is NOT the answer. The need to STOP sending over 106 Billion Dollars to Ukraine & put that money into social security.
❤️All Truths Will Be Revealed Soon❤️President Donald J Trump is a great man of integrity,Faith and Loyalty. He absolutely loves his family and Country. Australia has your back USA. We Love You ❤️❤️❤️💎❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 🙏 for seeing the truth Joe lied at the debate about soldiers being killed under his watch in Jordon and Afghanistan There wasn’t any war during Trump and billions of dollars of equipment that Trump got done was left in Afghanistan and our economy has never been so bad and it’s a ripple effect to every country so many things have been affected because we aren’t producing enough oil that we were going to share with other countries and that got shut off when Biden took office it’s been bad ever since It’s nice that other countries can see what democrats don’t some are waking up which is great 👍
Thats very cool of you to support us during these times!!! It seems like every free world country is fighting the same battles and evil as we are and all I can do (besides vote for Trump!!) is pray that we the people, all of us including our Aussy brothers and sisters!!!! Thank you very much for your support my friend!!!! I never got to visit Austraiia but had friends there (incuding a lady that nicknamed me "Daggy" told me it was a tern of endearment lol and from her it was. Sorry I got side traceked!!) Anyway I thank you very much for your support and hope we can have your back as soon as we can get rid of these dirty communists democrats who are ruining our country!!! Cheers Mate!!!
I have a strong feeling that a candidate in November will ACTUALLY get 81,000,000 legal votes, and it sure as hell won't be Biden or anyone else that the democrats throw out there. 😂😂😂😂😂
81 million won't win it. The DNC likely has 90 million or more already in the bag. They aren't worried about Biden's debate performance...it's just noise to distract.
not only that but if you tax companies more that gets directly transferred to the consumer who will pay more for everything!! Biden never mentions this
The biggest thing in the Trump tax cuts was the limitation of $10,000.00 for deductions. That's why all the rich people moved out of New York to Texas and Florida. They were able to deduct millions in New York before Trump put a stop to it.
@@robertjohnson-mt8pz I kinda tend to think that the FACT that Florida nor Texas have ZERO state income tax just might have more than a little to do with their exodus from New York.
If we are lucky this shitshow will be fixed in 10 years. If not welcome to thunderdome
3 месяца назад
It could be fixed as early as March of 2025. The solution to the U.S. debt problem is a dramatic increase in demand for the dollar. The law of supply and demand states that in order for that to happen there will need to be ALOT less dollars in the system, making dollars more valuable. The top 7 stocks leading the S&P500 and Nasdaq to new highs will shed over $15 trillion starting here very soon. That's only 7 stocks. The windup? See if you can figure out how to garner some of the dollars that will be coming out of stock prices, home values, oil, gold, etc etc.
hunter biden and biden crime family gave you example of how much tax they pay. especially with corrupt doj cover ups proving they don't pay fair share. so don't listen to sleepy joe. his family don't pay tax.
Since politicians are part of the rich ,does everyone think they pay their fair share, bet not they use the tax laws for their advantage like all the rich, they will not change the laws because they don't want to pay fair share .
Taxes are bad for everyone, rich, poor, what ever taxes are bad. The job creators deserve a break, they take the risk. They supply the jobs. The government doesn’t deserve to distribute hard working people’s money. To people who don’t work or take the risk.
@@dennislawrence8501 why shouldn’t they? They’re taking all the risk.I thank God for bright intelligent people who took a risk, so that I could have a good paying job to provide for my family. What’s not fair is the government coming in and taking a chunk of that CEO’s money and cut in on my wages. Because that CEO is going to do one of two things. Cut wages, raise prices on goods and services. Then you and I are the ones paying that increase taxes. The government does one thing real well, waste money. They never do things on a budget because they can always raise taxes. You and I . We have to live within our means.
Why tax anyone rich or poor more in order to pay for the government’s mismanagement of what they already bring in? How about taxing politicians more for their incompetence and getting rid of wasteful spending?
I never was good at math but I did figure that one out long ago. The talking heads and politicians jump between talking percentages and dollars. Which ever serves their purpose at the time.
The 8% includes unrealized capital gains. The top 1% actually averages around 26% in Federal income taxes. They also pay around 40% of all income taxes.
Advantages, loopholes, tax credits, write-offs are all words that are slang or other words for TAX CODE. Don't be angry at people that exploit them since its all legal. INSTEAD, go to your government officials, YOU pick, left wing or right wing, and ask them to change that, since that's how you'd get to “right” what YOU perceive to be wrong. They will laugh at you, sometimes with YOU still standing there.

Kevin and Neal both dodged the factual truth. The Democrat party is a religion, based upon Hegelian doctrine.... thats correct, I said it's a religion, and factually, it is. When the zealots of that Hegelian religion, speak of "The Rich" they are espousing Hegelian dialectics, and living according to those dialectics. Because they are religious zealots, they don't care about facts, they only care about the ideology, and the dialectics formed upon that ideology. Watching and listening to American Democrats is identical to listening to Karl Marx's or Lenin, or G. Shaw, of the members of the Reich, All of whom believed upon the same doctrine.

If a billionaire manufactures actual products, ALA Bill Gates / Microsoft and paying employees good money to be there, then he is in effect paying tons of taxes via his employees. Sure he can write the salaries off but so what? - his well heeled employees are paying taxes on houses, cars, dining out, travel, clothing, etc. etc. etc. Would the Seattle and Washington state economies improve if Gates moved it all to Canada? Would the US suffer if all billionaires up and moved their operations to other countries?
A good majority of voters don't mess with the topic of capital gains. They just know about straight up taxes. So that talking point is lost on most people. I understand it, but I'm not in that group. We care more about regular tax rates and how that system is broken. No one ever "fixes" it. Income tax, corporate tax fall under language people at least have some grasp on. But what irks people the most is the fact most politicians are or become millionaires..and then talk about "richer" people versus the lower and middle class.
Any Speech Therapist would know, what the public does not that, anyone who suffers from "stuttering" can over prepare to the point they exhibit what we saw displayed during the CNN Presidential debate by President Biden who became focused on the very thing he had practiced to avoid. He said it at the end, but yeah, these billionaires or even millionaires who own a company take payment in shares of their company. They pay taxes if they sell any share. Most will get a loan from a bank and use the shares as collateral, which means tax free they'll pay back the loan with dividends earned, most likely, and dividends are taxed. Most people don't understand this concept.
