Today, the 26th May 2024 we all met up at Amberley Station for a lovely countryside walk along the river, past Amberley Castle to the picturesque Village stopping at the 12th century Church of St. Michael's with it's ancient yew trees and pretty flowers then on to the village pottery shop before finishing at the Village Tea Room for a lovely cup of tea (and for some delicious home made cake) Mmmmm yummy.
It was a fabulous day (as it always is on these walks) and the sun shone for us which was great!

What a stunningly beautiful film, and what a great location for the walk. Lynn, you seem to have captured a real essence here, utterly charming. Wonderful to see a thriving pottery, too. Lovely to see so many familiar faces. Really enjoyed this one, Lynn, so I watched it twice!

Hi Fiona, thank you for watching. It is a beautiful village that really takes your breath away, it's stunning at every turn. We all loved the walk, it was the perfect day, being with friends and the sun shone for us; so lucky. The wild flowers, especially the buttercups were stunning to see. I'm glad you enjoyed it xxx

Lovely to be with you on your walk Lynn. Great to see the pottery! I ran the pottery shop at Simons Bath one summer - the total eclipse yea, as I remember shutting the shop, and going up to the field where the sheep were, and standing there on my own when we had the total eclipse, it was a magical feeling - it is not there now, but the collectable Quantock Pottery came from there, as the owner was an artist, and designed and made the molds for the pottery. It was such a lovely little shop, in such a lovely picturesque spot, and it is so sad when things are no longer there. Ky was enjoying the water, and mud, and being with you all on this lovely day you had, thank you for taking us with you. Lovely music too. Thanks so much for joining us Jilly, it is nice to have you and Madge come along on our lovely walk into the beautiful countryside. This walk was very special because the people make it; we are all such good friends and enjoy one another's company. We so look forward to these monthly rambles and it is a joy to film them. Finding the Pottery studio with the lovely owners who were so welcoming was a treat. Such a lovely place with so much to look at. I will go back and buy something; probably a mug as I love my tea 🙂 Ky had so much fun; he's like a mascot on these walks and everybody loves him, especially when he gets muddy! Hahaha. Absolutely lovely video. Wow you edited that quick and put it up. Not sure when I will put mine up won't be for a while as I'm back at work hopefully mine will be good glade I filmed as its good memories .
