No joke. Tom has always had good pace with his comedy & whenever he's interacting. Then there's Bert. 🤣You are 💯% correct though --- Bert really ought to just take a step back and see if there's some power to the 75/25 rule (listen 75% / talk 25%).
@@MadGreek76 Exactly. We've all been there (to some degree I would imagine) --- you're speaking about something that is a very sensitive subject & are basically confiding in someone like Bert who doesn't give two shits except for himself. Bert has diarrhea of the mouth. The only cure would be cutting off his tongue. All in favor say YAY 😆
Yeah I mean the really frustrating part to me is that every time he interrupts; there's never *ANYTHING* profound, worthwhile, or even remotely interesting about what he has to say.
This is very common now I'm 40 I'm seeing a lot of people who have been smoking for years start having breakdowns I can think of 4 without even trying Ps . I never liked it so I'm good
Bert is the worst interviewer ever. He makes everything about him. He ask someone a question. Then proceeds to talk about himself. He does that in every interview with everyone.
title of clip "Kevin Smith Opens up on Mental Breakdown" actual content "Bert brings up Kevin's mental breakdown as a way to make it all about himself"
@@fshoaps Unless you've experienced something similar yourself, your comment is mute..been there done that. Great to see he identified the issues, sort help and has the support of his family and fan base. The only way is up from here, go Kev!
@@fshoaps He talks too coherently to have been deep in psychosis. You don't just go into it and come out, especially not with anti-psychotics. I know, I am schizophrenic.
Bert can be fun, but he just doesn't work as an interviewer, imo. Always ends up interrupting, digressing and making it about himself. So anxious all the time
Yeah, I like the guy but he comes off very self centered. It's at least in a way that makes it seem more like he just doesn't have awareness of it rather than actively trying to make it all about him. I really really wanted to hear a little t more from Kevin though. That was kinda a scoop that Bert just let fall through his fingers
Heard similar about Dr Phil, he makes 2 million an episode and pays a staff of like 80 people, so he has kind of admitted behind the scenes that he just keeps doing shows and phoning it in, cause it basically makes a bunch of people millionaires who can actually use it.
Two of the worlds most A.D.D riddled narcissists competing to talk over each other...This was a struggle, everytime they touched on something interesting they went on a tangent and never circled back. So frustrating.
You know that feeling when you're about to comment on a video that shows up in your recommended list, but it turns out you already did so a year earlier? STFU AND LET YOUR GUESTS TALK
Bert's like, "I think I might be headed down the same road." You don't say! You don't say, guy who, like Kevin at the height of his madness, was wearing custom made hockey jerseys and baseball caps with his branding on it. You're literally wearing the costume of the guy who is now the model for taking yourself too seriously, Bert. Wake up.
I worked an event for Comic-Con with Kevin smith and I witnessed him being a complete dick because he couldn’t smoke weed in an area we were filming. He threw a legit temper tantrum
@@jessebremner5209 he’s referring to trump derangement syndrome. If you mercilessly criticize a politician from an objective point of view and the supporters of that politician liken your criticisms to a ‘syndrome,” you know they are very open-minded and willing to have a constructive dialogue 🫠
@@HeyThatsInteresting97 ahh I c..just furthering the divide. I think we could all do with not engaging in politics and just focus on raising our families and being good to our neighbors and maybe things would get a lot better..just a thought
@@jessebremner5209 Except that that’s not how things actually get better. You’re right, we need to do that. But we need to blend focusing on ourselves and our families with legislative action. Without legislative action, we would have never ended slavery, lifted senior citizens out of destitute poverty with the social security act, or codified civil and voting rights into law with their corresponding Acts of 1964 and 1965. So unfortunately, no. No, sticking our heads in the sand and focusing only on our immediate and extended family and friends is not the only thing we need to focus on, just a thought.
