I heard of KS’s behaviour long before it hit the news. Explain that guys!!! The man is guilty god knows how he was acquitted. Acting is truly all you have ever know KS, it’s what you do best on and off screen. Btw I am a gay man. Out and open.

Why do I feel like he was acting during this interview? I didn’t really hear any accountability being expressed. I do think he’s a great actor, but I’m not sure how good of a person he is.

He was tried by a jury and was found not guilty. The media is no longer controlled by a handful of studios. It's becoming decentralized. He will find a way to come back.

I wish Kevin Space well. None of the allegations held up in the court systems both in the United States and the UK. He should be allowed, now, to go on with his life and his career. The most upsetting part of the interview was seeing Spacey tearing up over his scum-bag brother selling pictures of his mother on her death bed. Shame on him.

All I’ll say is that in my 20’s I worked with and was friends with him. I’m now 65 years old and no one , male or female, not one person has ever accused me of sexual predatory behavior. In 65 years, not one individual because I have a moral compass and not a predator.This man certainly cannot say the same. Convicted or not.. these men have been accused of horrible behavior by many many people. Just saying. This is a pathetic propaganda campaign and he takes no responsibility!

I'm all for 'uncanceling' him. But I have to say, the best thing about all this 'me too', 'canceling' people, etc...is that FINALLY all these actors / movie stars / celebrities are being held accountable. THEY ARE NOT above the law, SUPERIOR to the rest of the world, BETTER than you or I just because the play make believe on the screen. I think the days of celebrities being put on a pedestal are over. They're just everyday schmucks like the rest of us. Some of them just THINK they're superior.

Why do we care what a creepy actor thinks? How does this guy keep injecting himself into the discussion? No doubt he has some dirt on someone high up.

Didn't US and UK courts clear him. Jury involvement, too? If so, why are there people here thinking he should be locked up just because allegations were made which were never proven in this case?

I personally don’t want to see him back in the movies. He’s not admitting that he’s at fault and we’ve seen too many times, predators repeat their offenses. Slim to no chance of rehabilitation. He’s just sorry that he got caught. He’s been doing this since he was a teenager.

First of all, I am glad that Chris stepped up and did this interview. Unfortunately, I think Kevin is really narcissistic and missed the mark when it comes to humility and accountability. I felt like he deflected a lot, and I don’t appreciate his answers to Chris’s questions. I would have much rather heard him say that he was a narcissist, an alcoholic, a drug user, lost in excess and the vail of Hollywood elitism. I would be more open minded if he said that he needed help and couldn’t see. I didn’t hear that sadly. My take always are: 1. Victim mentality, 2. Lost his wealth, 3. Wants to get back into the lifestyle that opened the doors to his behavior. My question is did he really learn anything? Doesn’t sound like it to me.

Thank you for having this conversation with Kevin. I’m one of those Americans who never heard any real believable evidence against him. I don’t believe in cancel culture. Kevin is a brilliant actor. Come back kind sir!

Spacey is correct

He was cleared in multiple court cases, multiple juries, 2 different countries, both criminal and civil - undefeated and not guilty. If that's not the definition of Clearing One's Name, I don't know what else he could do? He has to wear a scarlet letter, just because he was accused? I was taken in too but now I've completely reversed myself and believe Kevin is being honest. Once you LEARN THE FACTS, and use common sense, you realize we were all mislead by shody journalism

I am lucky. I only held KS to a personal high regard as an awe filled fan who grew up loving movies, least of all the ones I would fondly rewatch time and time again, and attributed a sense of joy and warmth I felt that only true admiration and gratitude could bring. I am lucky that in 2017, all that was tarnished for me was fiction, as dear to my heart as it was. I am lucky he never made me feel fear, violated or lesser, and with a soul left haunted as my only evidence. The number of those unlucky and tarnished is just too great, guilt is the only logical explanation and anything less of an admission is simply not enough.

Good to hear how he’s coping. Don’t know where I fall on cancelling him. Would be good to know what happened in court.

Let's see the media make as big a deal about him being acquitted as when he was accused! Being accused is not the same as being convicted, and people need to stop convicting based on allegations and wait for the trial before you ruin a man's reputation.

Truth is this Kevin is or was sort of a monster He got a taste of what being famous offered him, an endless variety of young eager men to take advantage of and advance on. Were this men innocent? Not really. But Kevin clearly had it had little self control and knew his behavior was morally off but didn’t care. Is this criminal, prob not. Is he still a major creep for constantly grabbing young interns private parts and exposing his own often to them? It’s a sickness at the very least. Buyer beware. If you look at Spacey’s behavior after the allegations came out where he tried to skirt the abuse claims by coming out of the closet, it shows what a sociopath he is. That being said, he has been acquitted in multiple courts. Is it possible that he can both be a despicable person and that a few, some, or even all of his abusers were lying? If Woody Allen can still be out there making movies, i think Kevin Spacey still can. That being said, companies are free to employ who they want to and if companies don’t want to take the risk of employing him, thats fine.

First step in recovery is accepting responsability for the hurt you have caused others. He has not done that. He is not truly intouch with what he has done. I used to love him as an actor, he was one of the truly gifted. His inability to reconcile himself with what he has done makes it impoosiible for me to watch any work he would do.

He best work is ahead of him, but not in Hollywood. His future is an actor in and producer of independent films and theatre. Given how he has been treated, what an incredibly dignified, humble man. Is he a creepy old gay guy? Almost certainly. Is he a #metoo criminal, no. All these years of a of a supreme talent have been lost. Until the Rapp civil case was laughably thrown out of court, and being acquitted in the UK by a jury, he remained silent. No Amber Heard style talk show tours. He might be gay but he took it all like a man and he as prevailed.
