As with many interviews involving many different "workers" concerning many different "conflicts"...HANNIBAL always seems to be able to get the better part out of these men without too much "embellishing" of "said facts" of a story or incident from the past...THAT is why I'm a Proud Subscriber to this channel...."The Goods Are Delivered"....the Workers feel comfortable enough to be pretty much forthright ( better than in some interviews elsewhere ) AND the whole atmosphere is enjoyable too. He had a very simple finisher based on running from one corner to another while yelling but he couldn't even get any speed with those tiny bow bent legs. Just looked stupid. Flair is maybe the goat but he surrounded himself with lowest level of talentless suck ups.

Leon was one of my favorite wrestlers. I think he could be nice and other times be a bully depending on the day. Probably the Sullivan version is closer to the truth and it was unfortunate as Vader was never used properly in WWE,after he was let go in WCW.

There's one thing I don't get...I've heard multiple people tell their accounts of this incident, and all seem to say Orndorff was an agent at the time. I don't know if that's right though because he wrestled full time until the end of 1995, several months after this happened.

I don't think this was shot in 2000 because at the end he says WWE and that didn't happen until 2002. Looks pretty recent by Sullivans appearance, maybe last 5 years.

Paul kicking Vader in the face seems to be backed up by everybody. And yes he probably was wearing flip flops or else Vader wasn't getting up. Orndorff also has a temper, that's been talked about on more than one occasion. He's not a guy was backing down from anybody. Whether he was stuffed in a box, pushed or punched, Meng etc .. that's not consistent.

Although I am still young enough to remember a Jim Cornette comment or two of ole Leon, bless his soul, "being [a bit] demanding at times]....wanting a lot of things his way. Or expecting things to be a certain way...." So yet another Vader incident report doesn't surprise me in the least, but that's okay because I still love the guy! Even unto death I do. It certainly seems with vader, that he definitely tried to hurt people. Especially with that right swing that he had. That's what gave Nikita Koloff the herniated disc in his neck. I think Vader is full of it when he says that he looks out for the other wrestler - He meant to do them some real damage to make a name for himself.

Here's my problem... As a former MMA guy (from before head kicks on the ground were outlawed) I know if you booted Vader's GIANT head with out shoes on you'd break half the bones in your foot... So how'd that not happen? Tony Schiavone says Paul was in boots and the flip flops story is nonsense. ... It's incredible how many people seem to have been eye witnesses to this fight all with largely different accounts. 🤣

Orndrorff " yeh we went at it again and i took a couple of shots but i carried on work that night ,he had to go to the hospital" I think a lot want to believe orndorff won but sounds like he got boot in as they were broke up and vader started fucking him up when they went at it again , thats when meng stepped in...

Kevin: He was believable Me: Ya think? 😂 I've watched a few jobbers take a beating from Vader during his career, and of course the infamous Joe Thurman incident helped solidify Vader's reputation in the states, and to be honest I think Vader got too caught up in the gimmick and a few guys paid the price for it, and then Ordorff gave him a much needed reality check.

Wrestlers love to embellish. But not one person ever said that Vader won. The meat of the story is that Orndorff snapped and started unloading, nobody ever denied that part.

Well that's the thing when Vader hit Paul that first time and kocked him on his ass he could have just jumped on him and kept beating the shit out of him.But he held back and that is when Paul got a couple cheap shots in then Vader got really made and really wanted to kill Paul and that is when Meng stepped in and stopped it.Love them both but Vader could have put Paul out very easy but held back.So you either got to say Vader won or no one really won just depends on who you like more I guess.

Obviously, if Vader had gotten the upper hand he had a huge weight and age advantage. Paul Orndorff was a tough man but at this point he basically had one arm and he was in his mid 40s. In a straight up fight, Vader definitely wins.
