I’m 50. I been following bass anglers since I can remember, any and all circuits. I’ve known of Cliff Prince. I didn’t know how bad I wanted a victory for Cliff until this interview which highlights one of the many great takeaways there are from a great, well done podcast. Keep it up, Dave. Wtg Cliff! Jakes not lying. We have those power lines here on watts bar too. And I actually live very close to them. I can hear them buzzing every time I go under them to go home. Or when I'm at the boat dock where the lines go right above it. And there's an island just like the one described, but we don't have any buildings on the island. Just an island with a power lines on them.

Another great show, dave. Hearing those 6 mins of KVD praise was awesome. Kvd definitely has made a huge HUGE impression on ppl around the world whether they fish or not. Congrats to Prince for a great win! Wheeler was the most fun tourney i have tuned into in a while. Just old-school bass fishing. I look forward to the next show

I work under those exact Power lines Jake mentioned on Kentucky Lake. Like, the exact exact Power lines. The amount of friends I have that now have cancer & spent their lives working under those lines is crazy. But the ledges by those power lines are 🔥

I was there as a marshal ! It was hot ! I drank so much water, and Gatorade, Pedialyte. Every time I went to take a whizz, I looked like a yard sprinkler ! 😂 still had a great time. It was good to see everybody. !

Precisely why I don’t go to the bilge. If you have to rely on trying to create drama over a non issue, I don’t have the time of day to care about what you have to say anymore. And that’s all they seem to be interested in doing. To the extent that he would gladly tank himself in tournaments just because he is stubborn.

Need to copy & paste… Awesome show! In spite of no real info Jake’s takes great to watch. “Our Home Town Winner” Cliff was especially fantastic to see. Cliff definitely earned his Blue Trophy. He’s posted a number of picks of him & the trophy traveling thru Putnam County!

I always try to keep up with Jake during the tournament cuz I know he's there. I was shocked to see him in the boat with John Garrett 3 days in a row thought he'd been in Cliffs boat one day. Still don't know what that wacky rig insert Garrett cut off is. Shout out to Cliff, and Big Red!

Well Davie, unfortunately, I must inform you that it's hotter this week for the Smith Lake Elite tournament than it was for the Wheeler Lake event. I live 60 miles from Smith Lake and I can tell you that you won't need to visit the sauna or sweat lodge when you are here this weekend - just step outside. Unless, rains bless us. Hopefully A/C works as well for you at hotel than it did at Ingalls Harbor.

@@factsoffishing Sorry for delayed response. Happy Graduation Day for your son and for you and your wife!!!! I hope to make it down to Cullman on Saturday or Sunday. I went through Florence and Moulton, Alabama Wednesday and we had some heavy rain north of Smith Lake. Rained in Birmingham too. Maybe had some liquid sunshine on Smith as well. Hope to see 'ya soon my friend.

Special plastic device hahahaha that helped hold the hook in place instead hook being able to go into the worm and miss the hook set. Never seen one until live the logic made since though. Great show as always Dave. 💪
