Oh my goodness! I was at that concert at the House of Blues in Orlando. I tell people about that concert all the time (literally just last month I was telling someone about) and how impactful it was so the fact that that concert was impactful to him and influenced his move to Orlando is amazing. I'm not sure if Tye knows, but when he ended the concert we did not stop singing I love you forever. The entire audience kept singing we give glory to God glory to God glory to God forever as we walked out. We kept singing until we were all away from each other. People in Downtown Disney thought it was a flash mob because we were all singing! I was like this is what heaven is going to be like!

I never knew all this about Tye! How God brought him through everything is just amazing. You can't tell me God won't do it! (Also, with the girls thinking he's cute, I've noticecd that the anointing makes people attractive. I believe we have something in us that is naturally drawn to the anointing and presence of God, so when someone's walking in it, it bumps them up a number or two on the scale.)

Tye's music is special to me. My son is 20 now, but we bonded listening to and singing songs from Stand Out in the car when he was younger. He still listens to it, so do I 😊 haven't finished the interview yet, but I hope he touches on curating the Sunday Service cd. What an amazing job.

Kev, at 16:34, what you said is exactly why I got divorce. When I started to tell my ex what I needed from him for our marriage to get better, he didn't let me finish my sentence and immediately said "That's too much!" That literally broke my heart.

I got introduced to tye tribbebth with the song, chasing after you but the greater than album was his pinnacle. It was literally a total package...it brought me out from a very dark place...song like "you are everything" was a life saver...God bless you tye tribbeth for the grace upon your life

The Gospel is the message and genre is the vehicle; to which the message of the Gospel is shared. So we can have Neo-soul sound that shares the gospel (Victory Boyd-I love she is not limited to just that sound though) or gospel jazz. The same with R&B. It is just the vehicle to which rhythm and blues is shared. Interesting how things related to our blackness (maybe other races feel the same way but I'm black soooo...) are so abbreviated and defined in short-term. But we know!! We are some talented people!!
