The reality is that rents everywhere are so low, that it isn't financially feasible to build new rental buildings. Layer on top of that the massive government intervention in favor of renters via rent controls and 12-month-waitlists for a hearing at the tenancy branch to evict your nightmare, non-paying tenant, and its no wonder the private sector wants nothing to do with this dumpster fire.

Let's talk about abolishing CMHC instead of talking about this garbage reports that they have been doing for decades. 🙄
